Christopher didn't wake up till mid afternoon.
By then, Eva and I had already showered and our suitcases had been brought in. We ate breakfast with all the other house mates in the dining room. They'd all become acquainted overnight and according to the little I was able to listen in on, they all had a fun night together, all four of them.
Apparently, Jordan, Eva and I hadn't been invited. They'd wanted to invite Christopher, but he was nowhere to be seen.
I wanted to reveal that he was on my bed but I recalled that he only reached out this morning and not in the middle of the night, so I kept my mouth shut.
There was a weird sense of hierarchy that was forming. Those four were already acting like the in crowd, cracking coded jokes and laughing hysterically. I noticed Eva felt uncomfortable but she didn't say anything. She only ate her breakfast in silence. As did I.
