Chapter 4 - Chapter4:"secrets from beyond the skies,"

HeeLeader was walking with Thrain and Rhinedottir through the halls of the large castle. As they walked, he started to think about anchors and how they might help him.

"Although when I can make avatars of myself, I won't need people to be my anchors. But what's the fun in that? If Klein can make a cult, then I can too... and I want to be the God of the Godless City." He was mostly thinking about the cool honorific names he could create.

Rhinedottir said, "We have reached the king's room. I advise you not to be disrespectful—be careful." She then realized she hadn't yet asked him for his name; it had been more than five hours since she met him.

Trunset started contemplating whether he should tell her his real name. "It would be funny if I told her my name is Heavenly Principle... That might help me with the bizarro sorcerer, but I'm not someone who does anything just for joyseeking. I'll go with Alista."

Trunset said, "My name is Alista Tudor."

Rhinedottir replied, "Right, so Alista, keep yourself cautious."

"Ma'am, yes ma'am," Trunset responded, and Rhinedottir sighed.

As Trunset entered the king's throne room, he saw a man seated on the throne. He had white hair and one eye. Near him was a knight with blue hair and dark skin.

"Za fuck... Is that Kaeya, or am I dreaming? Wait a second... he looks a bit older. There's only one explanation: he's from the Alberich clan." Trunset figured this man must have high status to be here, and he recalled one character from the Alberich clan who took the lead in Khaenri'ah after the Vinster King's death: Anfortas, the Knight Marshal.

At the time the Cataclysm struck, Anfortas was the Knight Marshal and the leader of the Schwanenritter. He declared himself the Marshal Regent after King Irmin became "indisposed," leading the effort to take Khaenri'ah's survivors above ground. "I think I should wait and build a good relationship with him," Trunset thought, even if Anfortas would most likely die.

The Vinster King Irmin glanced at Trunset and said, "So you're the one Rhinedottir told me about. I won't beat around the bush... are you a Descender?"

Trunset was surprised by Irmin's words. 'Honestly, I should have seen that coming.'

Trunset replied, "What's a Descender?"

Irmin explained, "It's what we call people in Teyvat who came from beyond the stars. They are not restricted by the order of these worlds."

Trunset nodded, "As expected from the Vinster King Irmin. Yes, I am."

(Author's note: hope someone gets the reference.)

Irmin replied, "You're now one of the most dangerous beings, and they—"

Before Irmin could finish, Trunset interrupted with a cheeky smile, "The Heavenly Principle?"

Irmin added, "It appears your knowledge about the world is not something to laugh at."

Trunset said, "I already know you'll try to manipulate me into fighting them, but I'm not naïve enough to fight them for no reason. However, I could make a deal with you."

Irmin glanced at him with cold, calculated eyes and asked, "What do you wish for? If it's within my ability, I will do it, as long as it doesn't hurt my kingdom."

Trunset answered, "You want me to join you in your glorious purpose of defeating the divine right, but I want anchors to keep me sane. The anchors I'm talking about are believers."

Irmin's eyes grew wide as he glanced at Trunset. Anfortas's angry voice came from his right.

Anfortas exclaimed, "You want to be an archon of the kingdom known as the Archonless City? Do you know what you're asking for?"

Trunset replied, "Yes, I know. It feels like a good deal. You get a Descender in your army, and I get to stay sane and not destroy the world by losing control."

Anfortas's eyes grew wider than before, and Irmin wore a similar expression.

Irmin asked, "What do you mean by that?"

Trunset explained, "I mean that if I don't get any anchors—someone strong enough to beat the Heavenly Principle's Second Throne—and King Nibelung with one hand might take control of my body." Irmin didn't expect to hear such a thing; defeating the Heavenly Principle and Celestia was his dream.

Irmin asked, "How do you expect me to believe this?"

Trunset confidently said, "Easy. I'll hold a ritual now and here to get my castle in this world. Would you like me to do it?"

Anfortas glanced at the Vinster King and said, "My king, this could be dangerous. I don't think—"

Irmin interrupted, "Do it."

Anfortas fell silent.

Trunset nodded, "As you wish."

Suddenly, four loaves of bread and potatoes appeared in every corner of the room. Trunset assumed a praying position and began to recite:

"The Immortal Lord of Heaven and Earth for blessings;

The Sky Lord of Heaven and Earth for blessings;

The Exalted Thearch of Heaven and Earth for blessings;

The Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth for blessings."

All of a sudden, grey fog began to envelop Teyvat.

In Natlan, a red-haired man looked around, confused.

In Liyue, a wingless dragon gazed at the nation as grey fog surrounded the city.

In the city of Mondstadt, a drunken bard widened his eyes and took notice
