Chapter 72: Soaking (2)
"Onii-chan, you can turn around now."
Right now, Megumi and the other girls were relaxing in the hot spring.
The mist on the water made it hard to see their bodies.
"Oh, alright..."
Jun looked surprised and confused.
He easily removed the bindings on his hands, then took off the snakeskin blindfold.
Jun looked at the surface of the onsen and saw the girls' heads. He started to imagine what their skin would look like if it was white and smooth.
He also noticed the clothes they had taken off, but Jun didn't openly show that he wanted them.
He put his backpack down and put his bow and arrows on top of it.
He was going to bathe too.
But before that, he checked their surroundings one last time.
As Nanako had said, this place was far from the Dragon Spine Tribe's settlement, and there were no signs of anyone else around.
He climbed a tall tree, ignoring the snow piled on its branches.
Silent.
It's really quiet.
He confirmed what he had seen. There was no sound from the forest around it.
The sun was still in the sky, but the colors of dusk were starting to appear.
It looked like they would have to spend the night here, putting up a simple tent made from bear hide.
Luckily, the onsen kept the air from getting too cold.
"Um... Would you like to turn around first?"
Jun was ready to take off his clothes, but he felt awkward when he saw the girls staring at him from inside the water.
"What's going on with all of you? Have you ever seen a man undress?"
Yukino was about to look away, but Utaha stopped her.
"Let's just close our eyes, okay? Don't worry, we won't peek!"
Utaha set the example, tightly closing her eyes.
The other girls followed, but not all of them seemed completely interested.
But even with all their eyes closed, Jun still had a hard time undressing.
What is this? Is this some kind of shame play?
Jun clearly wasn't comfortable with being naked in public.
"Onii-chan, you still haven't taken off your clothes? Don't tell me you think we're sneaking a look."
Megumi was different from the other girls because she didn't close her eyes.
She just looked at Jun with a blank face, showing no embarrassment or desire to turn away.
"Megumi... can you... all please turn around first? Just imagine I'm begging."
Jun really didn't want to take off his clothes because he felt like everyone was looking at him.
He knew the girls were very close to him, but he still felt embarrassed about being naked in front of them.
Not quite there yet.
"Still not enough..."
Megumi let out a soft sigh and said something that Jun didn't understand.
She turned her body around slowly. Ginko and Utaha also turned after quietly sighing.
As soon as the girls turned around, there was a splash!
Jun jumped into the water.
"Ahh... So warm..."
He finally got to relax completely in the onsen's warmth.
When Jun came in, the girls automatically stayed away from him.
There was tension in the air, even though they knew their bodies were hidden by the hot steam.
However, being naked and in the same onsen (Japanese bath) with a man made them feel extremely embarrassed.
But Nanako was different.
That girl was still swimming in a dog paddle, which made Jun wonder if she was truly human or a dog that had transformed.
But when he saw the girls moving away, Jun just smiled kindly.
He splashed gently and started to walk toward them slowly.
"What are you doing, Jun?"
Yukino, feeling scared, started moving back towards the edge with the other girls.
"Stop! Don't come any closer!"
Ginko scooped some onsen water and splashed it toward Jun.
"Katō-kun, you're not suddenly becoming a pervert, are you?"
Yui hid behind Yukino, looking terrified, but really she was just thinking it was a funny game.
"Calm down, Jun-kun..."
Utaha was surprised by how confident Jun was.
But remembering what she had shown Jun before getting into the onsen, her face blushed red again like a boiled crab.
"Huh! I was just trying to scare you guys. You got what you deserved for trying to peek while I was changing clothes!"
Jun finally stopped moving.
Seeing the girls slightly scared made him feel somewhat satisfied.
Megumi spoke quietly.
"Even though it was obviously Onii-chan who peeked..."
Splash!
Utaha splashed water at Jun.
Her face was bright red with embarrassment and frustration.
That's so shameless! After just looking at them naked, he had the nerve to accuse them of trying to look at him.
"It was obviously you who wanted to peek earlier..."
She quickly tried to change her words, but Jun already understood what she meant.
"Utaha-senpai, your skin is really white..."
Jun quietly admired Utaha's body.
The girl's face turned even redder.
Wow, after I looked, you still had the nerve to say something like that?
Splash! Splash!
Utaha splashed Jun with water again, and because of her energetic movements, the water's surface rippled strongly.
Ripples meant peaks and valleys.
Jun held his chest with one hand while his eyes tried to see through the water. He hoped to catch a glimpse of the girls' bodies.
"Stop, Kasumigaoka-senpai!"
Ginko quickly hugged Utaha from the front.
She realized that the ripples were actually helping Jun even more!
