At the very edge of the solar system…
If anyone had been watching through a deep-space satellite, they would have been left speechless.
A lone figure stood suspended in the cosmic void—where there should be nothing but the silent drift of asteroids and the cold shimmer of distant stars. Yet, there he was, a man—ancient, battered, and emanating a presence that defied reason.
His face was resolute, carved by the trials of time and war, yet hollowed by exhaustion. His tattered imperial robes fluttered silently, unaffected by the absence of wind. This was no ordinary man.
He was Emperor Qin—the last sovereign of the human race from this Universe which is also known as the Wild Universe.
His body was almost drained of spiritual essence. To seal the Wild Universe and halt the invasion of the dreaded Death Race, Emperor Qin had sacrificed nearly all of his cultivation. His life force flickered like a dying star, and yet, through sheer will, he had reached the outer boundary of this forgotten cradle of humanity—the Solar System.
Before him, like a blue jewel resting in the dark, floated Earth.
His eyes, dim yet unyielding, stared at the planet with a mix of reverence and urgency.
"So… this is the mother, this is the ancestral land," he whispered hoarsely. "The origin of life in the Wild Universe..."
The words of the ancient sages echoed in his mind:
"As long as the Solar system endures, the human race shall never perish."
For billions of years, it was forbidden to come to the solar system for outsiders. It was to protect the peace and purity of the solar system. But alas, emperor Qin does not have any other choice now. He has to take this chance. It is said that when there is a life and death situation for the wild universe, the saviour always comes from the solar system. He can also see that originally there were only two planets here but the ancestors divided it to 8 in order to complete the sactrade array which protects the solar system. It is not a problem for him, he is the emperor and he has the key to enter the solar system.
Emperor Qin could feel his life slipping through his fingers, like grains of sand lost to the cosmic wind. He had little time. His energy was fading. But his mission was not yet complete.
There was still one thing left to do.
With the last remnants of his strength, he turned toward Earth, his aura flickering weakly.
"I must find the heir… someone worthy of the throne. Someone who can inherit the legacy… and protect our universe."
And with that thought, he vanished into a streak of radiant light, descending silently toward the distant blue planet—
—where the final chapter of an ancient legacy was about to begin.
