The tone wasn't casual, not even remotely so— it carried weight, authority, and something that made it impossible to dismiss as a simple request.
It was clearly a command!
The words were directed at Branwen.
And he wasn't being polite in the slightest.
If anything, Raven sounded unbelievably arrogant, as if he had every right to order someone like Branwen around without explanation.
His tone dripped with certainty, like this was a natural course of action, not something he needed to justify to anyone in the room.

"Who's that arrogant jerk?"
"Hey, are you stupid?"
"Do you have a death wish, you bastard?"
It only took a second for the other tertiary students in the room to grow annoyed. Their whispers rose into sharp, cutting voices that carried over the space, irritation bubbling like boiling water.
