Chapter 463 - Chapter 464 — Alex: Wanda, Then I’ll Just Have to Beat Some Sense Into You

About to face Wanda again, America Chavez couldn't help feeling tense.

No matter what anyone said, this was the same demon who had chased her through multiple universes…

Who had given her a lifelong trauma.

But after thinking it over carefully, America calmed down a bit.

Even ignoring how Strange personally witnessed Alex defeat Wanda with ease…

Just the fact that Alex held the Infinity Stones was enough to reassure her.

No matter how strong Wanda was, could she possibly overpower the Infinity Stones?

Obviously not.

So this time, America actually felt a bit of confidence.

As for the alternate Doctor Strange?

He was even more relaxed—

he came here purely to vent his pent-up anger after being hunted like a dog.

And Alex?

He was the most relaxed of all—

his expression casual, as if they were on a sightseeing trip.

He spread out his super-hearing, trying to locate Wanda's position.

SWISH!

A very familiar portal suddenly opened beside them.

"Oh, come on,"

the alternate Strange said, looking helpless.

He knew that portal too well.

He didn't even need to think—

he already knew who the "uninvited guest" was.

Sure enough—

Another Doctor Strange walked through the portal.

"The other me. A girl. And… a young man. Three visitors from other universes."

The second Strange scanned them with a sharp gaze.

"Will you follow me to Kamar-Taj for a talk?"

His words sounded polite…

But his tone wasn't the least bit polite.

Kamar-Taj's job was to monitor threats from beyond Earth.

Three people who could travel between universes?

Absolutely dangerous.

Especially the kind that could threaten reality itself.

"Strange, take care of yourself,"

Alex said lazily, clearly uninterested in the hassle.

"Alright," the alternate Strange nodded.

"Wanda is beyond me… but this part, I can handle."

He stepped toward his counterpart.

"Since you're another me, I'm sure you know a spell that reads memories—correct?"

"You mean…"

"Yes. Come on. I'll cooperate."

The second Strange didn't waste time.

He raised his glowing hands—

WHOOSH!

A ball of magic formed and shot into the alternate Strange's forehead.

FLASH!

Instantly—

Memories surged into the second Strange's mind.

His expression froze, eyes widening in disbelief.

He had expected Wanda to be powerful after the Westview incident…

But he did not expect her to become a multiversal calamity.

And even more shocking—

The Asian-looking young man he hadn't taken seriously at all—

Turned out to be completely bonkers.

He had defeated that Wanda easily...…

And casually carried all six Infinity Stones with him.

This was beyond unreasonable.

The second Strange stared at Alex like he was looking at a monster wearing human skin.

Even now, he still couldn't wrap his head around how someone so unassuming could be this horrifyingly strong.

"So… can we leave now?"

the alternate Strange asked dryly.

"Of course."

The second Strange nodded.

Now that he understood the situation, he saw no reason to interfere.

"I hope you finish your business quickly… and leave this universe."

He added coldly:

"I'll be watching you the whole time. That should be obvious."

SWISH!

He opened another portal and stepped through.

But everyone knew—

he wasn't really gone.

He was absolutely monitoring them from afar.

Alex didn't care.

He wasn't here to cause trouble in this universe anyway.

Meanwhile, while the two Stranges spoke, Alex finally located the corrupted Wanda.

She had sensed them as well.

"Let's go."

Alex waved casually and took the lead.

---

After a short walk—

They reached a quiet woodland cabin, peaceful and idyllic.

And there—

Wanda—

or rather, the Scarlet Witch—

was already waiting at the door.

She was no longer wearing casual clothes.

She wore the fearsome witch's outfit forged from Chaos Magic—

the sign she was fully prepared for battle.

"It doesn't make sense,"

the Scarlet Witch said first.

"You're so powerful in another universe… yet in mine, you don't exist at all."

"That violates the common rules of the multiverse."

Alex shrugged and smiled.

He couldn't exactly tell her he was a transmigrator.

If not for his transmigration, his original self would've already died—

so of course no variants of him existed elsewhere.

"Wanda, I'm not your enemy," Alex said sincerely.

"I'm actually here to help you."

He wasn't lying.

Yes, he came to resolve a threat.

But he didn't intend to fight Wanda if he didn't have to.

Not the real Wanda, anyway.

"I've heard that before,"

the Scarlet Witch sneered coldly.

"The best help you can give me… is to get as far away as possible."

Then—

WHOOSH!

She suddenly extended a hand and reached for America.

"Ah!"

America yelped as she was lifted helplessly into the air—

pulled toward Wanda like a puppet.

Alex let out a soft sigh.

The Wanda of this universe was far too corrupted by the Darkhold.

Too violent.

Too unstable.

Talking would accomplish nothing.

Which meant—

There was only one solution left.

Beat her until she listens.
