But even so, in front of Alex?
It felt like a breeze.
No threat at all.

Alex simply reached out and caught the ring steadily in his hand.

A move that, in the film, blasted Shang-Chi through mountains and churned up the ocean.
But against Alex?
He simply extended a hand.
A wave of telekinesis pulsed out—
And all four rings froze midair.
As if someone hit the pause button on reality.

Wenwu's expression twisted even further.
One ring being caught was shocking.
Five rings being frozen midair?
This was beyond belief.

Under Wenwu's horrified gaze, Alex grabbed the remaining four rings out of the air.
Five rings secured.
And through it all, Wenwu had exerted every ounce of his will trying to pull them back.
It had accomplished nothing.

Alex gave the mental command.
Shuu—
Instantly, the glowing rings dimmed—
Turned to ash—
And scattered into the wind.
As if they had never existed.

"Impossible!!"
"What did you do!?"
"Where are my rings!?"
Wenwu nearly popped his own eyes out.
He was utterly stunned.
His soldiers behind him were no better—they looked petrified.
Homelander had destroyed five rings?
Just like that??
Unthinkable.

Alex didn't bother explaining.
He blurred forward—
And appeared right in front of Wenwu.
The Ten Rings wielder didn't even have time to react before Alex grabbed his other arm—the one still wearing the remaining five rings.
Wenwu instinctively tried to attack…
But then realized:
He couldn't move.
A tremendous invisible force held him in place.
He was completely immobilized.
He could only watch helplessly as Alex reached for his final five rings.

"Attack!!"
His soldiers roared and charged.
Alex didn't even look at them.
He waved a hand casually—
Whoosh whoosh whoosh!
The entire Ten Rings army was swept up like leaves in a typhoon, flung backward, and crashed to the ground in a chaotic heap.
They lay scattered like dead dogs—utterly humiliated.
"What kind of monster IS he!?"
Terror filled their eyes now.
They were the Ten Rings!
A force powerful enough to battle Ta Lo head-on!
And they were wiped out by a wave of a hand.
No one would believe it if they hadn't experienced it themselves.

With Wenwu's forces handled, Alex didn't waste another second.
He pulled at Wenwu's arm—
Shrrp!
The last five rings slid off and into Alex's grasp.
The entire time, Wenwu could do nothing but watch in horror.
"NO!!"
"Alex—don't do this!!"
He roared in despair.
The Ten Rings were his only hope of retrieving his wife.
Without them—
He had nothing.
But it didn't matter.
Alex crushed the rings in hand—
And the last five dissolved into ash, just like before.

Thud.
Wenwu collapsed onto the ground.
His face turned pale.
He looked utterly shattered.
It was over.
Everything—gone.
"Alex… why… why did you do this?" Wenwu looked up, eyes red.
"You've destroyed everything I had!"
Alex shrugged.
"Wenwu, believe it or not—I actually saved you."
And that wasn't a lie.
If Alex hadn't intervened, Wenwu would've marched straight to the Dweller-in-Darkness…
And died pathetically.
Even worse—
His own children would've turned against him.
A tragic end.
