Chapter 479 - Chapter 480 — Alex: I’m Going to Invade the TVA!

Yes.

The batons held by TVA agents weren't just capable of slowing time or pruning objects—including living beings—they also had the ability to strip away a target's superpowers, turning them into an ordinary human.

Otherwise—

How could TVA agents—ordinary humans—be capable of easily capturing so many powerful "variants" across countless timelines?

You only had to look at their office:

Infinity Stones piled in drawers,

Tesseracts used as paperweights…

Clearly, the TVA had apprehended many absurdly powerful beings.

Could such beings be subdued by a few humans with glowing sticks?

Impossible.

And look at Loki—

the God of Mischief, the Asgardian deity himself—getting smacked around like an insect by TVA guards.

Was Loki weak?

Even if he got beaten up often in the MCU, he was still a god, vastly superior to humans.

Could he be reduced to mush by a few baton strikes?

Obviously not.

The only reason the TVA could do this—

was because their batons emitted an unknown energy that temporarily erased supernatural abilities.

But today—

Alex's abilities were still intact.

"Losing my abilities?"

Alex raised a brow.

So these TVA people claimed they could erase powers?

He knew that people who entered the TVA lost their abilities.

But he didn't know they could still suppress powers outside their realm.

Alex quickly assessed his body.

No issues.

Everything was normal.

For him, the batons simply… didn't work.

Click-click-click!

TVA agents panicked, frantically checking their weapons.

The buttons clicked repeatedly. Beeps sounded.

After a round of checking—

Their devices were functioning perfectly.

Which meant—

The problem wasn't the weapon.

It was Alex.

Why didn't the baton affect him?

SWISH!

Alex smirked coldly.

He extended his hand.

A crushing wave of telekinesis erupted.

All five TVA agents felt invisible hands clamp around their throats.

They were lifted off their feet, faces flushing red as they clawed at the air.

"This… this shouldn't be happening!"

"What's wrong with the baton!?"

"Why isn't it working!?"

The Black female agent stared at Alex in absolute horror, wildly operating her device.

Useless.

It didn't affect him at all.

THUD!

Alex flicked his wrist.

All five agents were slammed onto the ground like sandbags.

Unconscious instantly.

Even the Black agent collapsed in a heap.

Finished with that, Alex casually began inspecting their equipment.

He had plenty of interest—

Especially those rectangular golden doors they came through.

Super-dimensional portals capable of traveling across universes and timelines.

Beyond space.

Beyond time.

And then there were the time-manipulation gadgets—

like the one that slowed Loki's personal time to 1/16 of normal speed.

Artifacts like this were priceless.

"Alex, what happened here!?"

A voice came from behind.

Magneto arrived with several X-Men, all wearing heavy expressions.

They stared at the unconscious intruders and their faces darkened.

Someone invaded Krakoa.

Someone even attacked Alex.

And none of them sensed it.

Impossible.

"Are you alright, Alex?"

Magneto asked seriously.

He trusted Alex's strength, but these intruders were obviously not ordinary people.

"I'm fine. They're just normal humans."

Alex waved it off.

"Normal… humans?"

The X-Men exchanged stunned looks.

Normal humans couldn't even step foot into Krakoa uninvited.

Let alone sneak in silently.

And certainly not attack Alex.

But Alex had no reason to lie.

Everyone was thoroughly confused.

"Send them to the prison. Keep them under strict guard.

I'll explain everything soon."

Alex ordered calmly.

Wolverine took point, dragging the TVA agents away with a few others.

"And take all their equipment.

Send it to Hank's lab."

Alex added.

Within minutes—

The TVA agents were stripped of their gear

and thrown into Krakoa's fortified prison.

Their devices were hauled away for study.

"Alex, what's going on?"

"Who could infiltrate Krakoa?"

"We heard you were attacked!"

More mutant leaders rushed in, surrounding Alex anxiously.

Krakoa was the most secure nation on Earth.

For intruders to bypass all defenses—

It was a crisis of the highest order.

"Don't blame yourselves.

This wasn't your oversight."

Alex reassured them,

then explained the Truth:

The Time Variance Authority.

A temporal police force.

A bureaucracy that "maintains the Sacred Timeline."

A group that writes the script for every life in the universe and forces everyone to follow it.

Equivalent to—

A self-proclaimed god.

Everyone was shaken.

"What nonsense! They think they're gods? Controlling everyone's fate because they can manipulate time?"

"They're lunatics! A whole organization of lunatics!"

"So if you don't follow their 'script,' they just erase you?"

The room erupted with fury.

Nobody liked the idea of cosmic puppeteers deciding their lives.

But soon—

Anger turned into worry.

Because this meant the TVA could strike anywhere, anytime, unpredictably.

"How do we fight a group that can manipulate time?"

The question hung in the air.

Alex finally spoke, calm yet cold:

"You can defend against thieves for a thousand days,

but not forever."

"So I've decided…"

A pause.

Everyone looked at him.

Alex's eyes sharpened.

"I'm going to the TVA myself."

"I'll invade their headquarters."
