"Is that so?"
Doctor Octavius raised an eyebrow and began scrutinizing Alex from head to toe.
But of course, no matter how sharp her eyes were, she couldn't tell whether someone was from another universe just by looking.
"Forget it. Whether you are or not, analysis will tell."
Doc Ock quickly made her decision.
"I'm not here for you to analyze anything."
Alex smiled, then spoke to Kingpin in a tone that allowed no argument:
"From this moment on, I'm taking control of this entire facility."
The audacity of that sentence… was astronomical.
Kingpin didn't react outwardly.
Not a twitch.
Someone of his caliber never revealed emotion so easily.
BANG!
Suddenly, the office door was kicked open.
A massive, suit-clad man charged in—built like a tower.
None other than Tombstone, another supervillain.
Not the most famous, but definitely superhuman:
bulletproof skin
enhanced strength
shock-resistant body
natural electrical insulation
He wasn't some random goon.
The noise from Alex breaking in earlier had alerted him immediately.
He scanned the shattered window, then the unfamiliar figure in the room, and instantly understood the situation.
With a lightning-quick motion, two pistols appeared in his hands.
But Alex didn't even spare him a glance.
He simply flicked his hand through the air—
As casually as shooing away a fly.
Tombstone was launched backward like a cannonball, slamming into the hallway with a thunderous crash.
BOOOOM!!
The door exploded into splinters.
The mighty Tombstone lay sprawled on the ground—
completely unconscious.
Kingpin and Doc Ock were both visibly stunned.
Tombstone—defeated in a single second?
This supposed "visitor from another universe" was this powerful!?
WHOOSH!
Without saying a word, Doc Ock tore off her white lab coat.
Underneath was a tight battle suit only heroes or villains wore.
WHOOSH—WHOOSH—WHOOSH—WHOOSH!
Her four tentacles extended from the hidden mechanism behind her suit.
In this universe, her tentacles weren't metal—they were made from an inflatable, elastic polymer that expanded and hardened when deployed.
Efficient, flexible, dangerous.
WHOOSH!
With her tentacles unleashed, she immediately lunged at Alex, all four arms striking like vipers.
Alex merely waved his hand again.
Just a simple gesture.
BOOM!!
Doc Ock instantly followed Tombstone's fate—
blasted backward, smashing a crater into the far wall…
And then collapsed motionless.
Kingpin, who had stayed calm until now, abruptly stood up.
Given his colossal size, he looked like a moving mountain.
Say what you wanted about him—Wilson Fisk was built like a myth.
But his size wasn't fat.
It was all muscle.
He was the kind of man who could overpower Spider-Man in a fistfight.
"No wonder you dared storm my home," Kingpin growled, expression hardening. "Turns out, you're no ordinary man."
Alex didn't answer.
He simply extended a hand toward Kingpin—
And invisible telekinetic force wrapped around the crime lord's throat.
Kingpin felt an impossibly strong grip lift him off the ground.
He struggled with all his might—
It was completely useless.
"Kingpin!"
"Boss!"
Two shadows zoomed into the room at high speed.
They were the Prowler and Scorpion, both well-known supervillains.
This universe's Kingpin truly was outrageous—
His roster of elite enforcers was ridiculous.
And judging from their power levels, these guys could definitely give the Avengers a hard time.
The two froze upon seeing Kingpin suspended in midair, Tombstone and Doc Ock knocked out cold.
Whoever this intruder was—
he had taken down Kingpin's elite in seconds.
They didn't hesitate—they attacked Alex together.
And of course, they didn't even get close.
Alex waved again.
They were blasted away like worthless debris.
Effortless.
Insultingly easy.
Kingpin's entire squad of superhuman enforcers—
including Kingpin himself—
might as well have been ants before Alex.
"You… what ARE you!?"
For the first time, Kingpin's composure collapsed.
His face twisted in shock as he stared at Alex.
"Who I am doesn't matter. What matters is—
I need your particle collider."
Alex's voice was blunt.
"That's impossible!"
Kingpin rejected him instantly.
He was a crime lord, a kingpin of the underworld—
He didn't bow to anyone.
And more importantly—
The collider was his only hope of seeing his wife and son again.
Letting Alex take it?
Never.
"Oh really?"
"That's not up to you."
Alex sneered.
He flicked his hand—
Kingpin flew toward him like a rag doll.
Alex grabbed him and—
WHOOSH!!
They shot upward, smash through the window, and streaked across the sky.
Kingpin recognized the sensation with disbelief:
He's… flying!?
No gadgets, no tech, no support.
Just straight-up flight.
This wasn't just strong.
This was… monstrous.
"Why… did you bring me here?"
Kingpin's complexion turned grim as Alex carried him into the enormous collider chamber.
What was this intruder planning?
SHHZZZ!
Alex didn't answer.
His eyes glowed red—
Two blazing beams of heat vision shot out, carving molten trenches into the reinforced wall.
"STOP! STOP IT NOW!"
Kingpin yelled in panic, all composure forgotten.
He didn't care about Alex's powers anymore—
He only saw his collider in danger.
Alex calmly ceased the heat vision.
Then, coldly:
"Cooperate…
or I'll destroy the collider."
Kingpin was speechless.
Because Alex wasn't bluffing.
The man absolutely had the ability to destroy everything.
