Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 – The Abyss

The words "Order of the Abyss" sent a chill through Kaden's spine. He had heard whispers of such an organization, but he had always thought they were just rumors—stories told by those who feared the power of the beasts.

But now, standing face-to-face with this group, Kaden realized the truth. The Order wasn't just a myth. They were real, and they were dangerous.

"Searching for me?" Kaden's voice was tight, but he forced himself to remain calm. "What do you want?"

The leader of the Order, still smiling coldly, gestured to the war beast's fallen form. "What we want is control. Control over the beasts. Control over the Wilds. And you, Kaden, hold the key to unlocking that power."

Kaden's mind raced. Control the beasts? His bond with them wasn't something to be used for manipulation—it was a sacred connection, forged through trust and respect. He wouldn't let them twist it.

"You'll never control me," Kaden growled, stepping forward. His fingers tightened around the hilt of his dagger, but his true weapon was the Unseen Hunter.

The creature stepped forward, its form flickering with renewed energy. It was ready. Kaden could feel it in his bones.

But the leader of the Order wasn't fazed. Instead, he raised a hand, and the ground shook again. From the shadows, other creatures emerged—more war beasts, their mechanical forms gleaming with cold malice.

"You have a lot to learn, Kaden Acheron," the leader said softly. "The Wilds are ours to command. And you will either submit to us… or be consumed by the Abyss."
