"There's a ball coming up tomorrow night"Evette spoke drawing the attention of the others who came to look at the poster.
"That would be a great way to get the gem since it's most likely that the gem is in the royal treasure"Kyle spoke.
"But who's going there?"Aviva asked.
"What better way than the three of you going"Kyle spoke.
Ciara burst out laughing.The rest looked at her"I'm sorry" she said as she wiped the tears under her eyes"okay"she regained her composure"we don't have any things what wearing to a formal event less a ball"
"There's nothing stopping you from buying,you have the whole of today and half of tomorrow, enough time if you ask me"Kyle spoke and continued walking.
The girls exchanged a look between themselves before following the boys.

"This should be okay"Vida asked as she pulled out a yellow simple dress.
"No Vi,we need something beautiful, something that draws attention because that's what we need to do, capture the attention of the young King,I heard that the king loves women,so we need to make sure his eyes never leave us"Yasmin spoke.
"That sounds scary"Vida spoke as she continued searching for a dress.
Yona was about to speak when her eyes drifted to the door,she saw Ciara, Evette and Aviva entering the store.
"Guys let's go to another side"she spoke,at first they didn't understand but when they followed her eyes and saw the girls,they quickly went to another side to avoid being spotted.
"According to Azron,one thing the King loves more than his riches is women"Aviva spoke.
"That's just wrong"Ciara commented.
"So we need to wear things he can't resist"Evette continued ignoring the look of disgust on Ciara's face.
"Are we buying them,we can just rent them"Ciara spoke.
"Sure but what if I love my dress to much,how about we buy it then if we want to return it,we can and pay for rental instead of purchasing"Evette replied and Aviva nodded in agreement.
"That's a good idea, let's start"Aviva spoke and they started checking around for dresses.

"Kyle"by now he could recognize Rhea's voice so he excused himself to where he could speak to her freely.
"I'm here"he answered.
He watched as the trees moved aside and a feminine figure stepped out,she was wearing a matching golden necklace and earrings,even the gem on her head matched with the necklace.
On her head was a crown of flowers,she was wearing green and was barefoot.
This was the first time he had seen her real figure,other times it was only her face and it was on the trunks of trees so it always looked green.
She looked so motherly,he felt sad that she died.
Rhea noticed the look on her face,she walked to him,"what troubles you child"
Kyle shook his head"Nothing much"
She smiled but didn't press further"how is mastering your element going?"
"Great,I keep learning things I never knew you could do with Earth magic"
"That's nice to hear,I wanted to check up on you, if you need anything,you know what to do"she spoke as she walked back behind the trees as the trees shifted to the way they were initially.
He stood still for a moment calming his mind,he couldn't believe it was remaining just two gems excluding the one they were going to get tomorrow night at the royal ball.

"We're back"Alura called out as she dropped the bag she was holding down.
The boys walked up to them,helping with the bags.
"The others are here too,we saw them in the stores,they are going to attend the ball,they know that the gem is in the royal treasury."Yona spoke as she sat down on the couch.
"That's not good"Ryzen commented.
"It'll be troublesome if they recognize you guys"Hugo spoke.
"They won't, it's a masked ball"Ace placed the poster in front of them, looking closely they saw the words"don't forget your masks"in a small font.
"That makes things easier"Enzo spoke and the girls nodded.
"But we have to make sure we can trick him into getting us inside the royal treasury or they will"Alura spoke up.
"We just have to try our best"Vida spoke.

"Do you think Alura and the rest are here?"Evette asked Ciara.
"They should be,if they're here,that means they'll be attending the ball, finding them isn't going to be easy as the ball is also masked ball"Ciara answered.
"Then let's focus on being the ones to get the gems as we won't be able to recognize them"Aviva pitched in.
The remaining walk was in silence.

"How'd it go?"Kyle asked as the girls dropped their bags on the floor of the inn they were staying in.
"Fine"Evette replied.
"Can we see the dresses"Kyle asked trying to peep into the bag but Evette shut it tight"No you can't, you have to wait till tomorrow night before you do"
Kyle nodded in defeat before sitting down on the couch.
"Where's Azron?"Aviva asked as her eyes scanned the room to look for him but she didn't.
"And Jude?"Ciara added as she noticed that Jude wasn't in the room.
"They went out for a while, they'll soon be back"Kyle responded and they nodded.
Almost immediately the door swung open"Well here they are"Kyle spoke again as Jude and Azron walked inside.
"Did you get what you needed?"Jude asked as he walked over beside Kyle and sat down.
The girls nodded.
"Good"he continued"because we saw Yona and Vida while coming back,we need to be on high alert,it will be hard since it's a masked ball so just focus on I don't know swaying the King"
Ciara laughed within herself as she heard him say I don't know.
"We'll make sure we get it before they do"Aviva spoke,her eyes scanning throughout the room, landing on Azron for a fleet second before averting it.
Jude nodded"Thank you"

"Here let me help"Aviva told Evette as she helped her zip up her dress as they got dressed for the ball.
"Thank you"Evette spoke and Aviva nodded as she finished the touches on her dress.
"Are you done Ci?"Evette asked turning to look at Ciara.
"Tell me why again I'm doing this"Evette nearly laughed at the expression on her face,it was priceless.
"We look like queens,I am so not returning this dress,I love it"Evette spoke, excitement running through her veins.
"Me neither,I don't think I've ever looked this beautiful,I look like royalty,Ciara you shouldn't even think of returning this dress,after all I picked it myself,once you go into the ball room,the King won't be able to take his eyes of you"Aviva spoke.
Ciara smiled,deep down she loved the dress,she looked so beautiful,she had to thank both of them later for picking such a beautiful dress.
"Let's go down,I'm sure the boys are curious to see the dresses"Evette spoke and started walked downstairs and they followed too making sure they didn't step on their dresses.
"Hey"Evette spoke as she twirled her dress in front of Kyle and Jude
"You look... God, I don't know what to say"Evette smiled as Kyle spoke.
Jude wasn't paying attention, he was waiting for Ciara to come down.
She did but once she met eyes with him she froze, he stood up and walked up to her"You're beautiful,you know that?"the expression on his face was that of pure awe. She smiled and they continued talking.
Aviva scanned the room looking for Azron, he wasn't there,she left the room to take some air.
"Well, aren't you a sight"
Her face warmed up at the comment,she looked up to see him sitting on a tree branch above her.
"I would have told you to sit near me but we can't risk ruining the pretty dress now can we?"
She smiled in agreement,he jumped down and stood in front of her"left to me,I don't want you going to the ball"
"Why?"
He brought his lips near her ears,his smooth,silky voice,the only thing she could hear"Because I don't want anybody to see you or make advances towards you but since you're going,the most they can do is look because at the end, you're mine"
She was speechless for a moment and when she snapped out from her daze and was about to reply,Evette called out to her informing her they had to start going.
She turned around and was about to leave when Azron held her arm,he spun her to face him and placed a beautiful necklace around her.
"Have fun"she smiled at him before turning around to catch up to Ciara and Evette.
"Now that You're here, let's start moving"Evette waved her hand and a beautiful phoenix appeared.
"Don't worry,it won't affect our dresses"she reassured them after seeing their faces.
They all got on top and started heading towards the palace.

" Do you think this is good"Vida spoke as she looked down at her dress.
"Yes it's beautiful Vi, now let's go,we want to be fashionably late not late late"Yona spoke and they moved downstairs.
The boys stared in awe as they came down.
"You're all set to go"Enzo spoke, lifting their mood.
"How do I look pretty boy?" Alura whispered to Ace.
"Amazing my Lady"he replied and he got a smile in return.
"Well, we got to go"
"Bye my Lady, have fun"
"I always do"she winked at him before leaving the door.
