"AAARGH!"
My heart thudded so hard against my rib cage, that I feared it was going to explode. My eyes blurred as pain shot through my spine, as if my skin and bones were being torn apart with a hot searing knife.
I gasped as my hands clenched against the ground. Damon dropped beside me. "Ember… What is it? Isn't the transformation over?" He asked, worry lacing his voice.
He soothed my back, but it only felt like everything was getting worse. This pain was not the same as when my wolf had awakened.
My body trembled, my breath turned ragged. I wanted to cry for help, but all I could do was scream or whimper.
The pain began to spread across my body, and beads of sweat covered my skin.
Damon turned to elder Dominic. "She needs help with her transformation… help her."
Elder Dominic glanced at me with a pitiful gaze. "I'll see what I can do," he muttered under his breath.
