Chapter 276 - Chapter 276 Deja Vu

Hundreds of eyes bored through my back as I walked past them, but none of them dared to voice disapproval.

We entered the castle, my gaze unconsciously searching the surroundings, hoping Caroline and Lydia would stand by a corner to say hi… but no matter how much I searched they were nowhere to be seen.

The young witch trailed behind me, with her gaze on the floor. Damon walked in front of me, flexing his muscles in front of me.

My steps faltered when I reached the kitchen, I bit my lower lip, my leg unconsciously moved towards the direction… 'They must still be alive right? There is no way they would kill their own kind right? They must be behind the door… Maybe Lydia is making those delicious meals again.' My trembling fingers brushed the cold handle of the door.

"Master," Damon's voice snapped back to reality, and a drop of tears rolled down my cheeks. "It's this way." He added.
