California glanced at Bismarck, showing off a little. "That's right. Big Sis Tirpitz gave it to me. A six-star main gun—strong and unbeatable!"
The gleam in Leipzig's eyes nearly exploded, turning into shining gold coins.
A six-star battleship cannon!
And not just any—one from the German line.
That was extraordinarily rare. The only known six-star German battleship gun was the "Cat Gun" that Bismarck herself had been born with: extreme range, +21 firepower, +6 accuracy.
But the Abyssal Barbarossa's cannon—Leipzig, as the warehouse manager with every equipment stat memorized, knew its attributes by heart.
It was a step above the Cat Gun, one of the most precious weapons in existence.
Leipzig turned her sharp gaze on the drowsy Tirpitz. "Tirpitz, did you really give that cannon to California?"
Tirpitz blinked groggily. "Huh?"
Leipzig nodded firmly toward California. "See? She didn't admit it."
Even California realized something was wrong now. Her greatest fear was that the six-star main gun would be taken away. After all, it had been Tirpitz's battle trophy, and by every logic and every bit of reason, such a powerful cannon would do far more in the hands of other veterans.
She was just a newly born novice shipgirl, pitiful, weak, and helpless compared to level-110 elites like Bismarck.
To cling to the cannon, she had even humbled herself earlier by calling Tirpitz "Big Sis"! That shut-in deadweight—who on earth would want to call her sister?
But now California understood her worth. At least the shut-in was kind… and generous.
Leipzig pressed harder. "I'm the warehouse manager here. All equipment has to pass through me for logging in and out. Hand the cannon over first, I'll register it, then return it to you."
As if anyone would believe that, when her eyes were practically shooting gold light!
California's gaze turned pitiful as she looked at Hikaru. "Commander~"
Hikaru found it amusing to see her squirm. He feigned a sudden realization. "Didn't you want a proper equipment set? Leipzig, you take care of it. Outfit her with a three-gun, and give her that five-star special AP shell with the experience bonus."
California froze in dilemma.
If she agreed, she might lose the Abyssal Barbarossa cannon.
But if she refused… then she'd miss out on at least three five-star guns, plus a golden AP shell, and even an experience boost.
She was torn in anguish.
At that moment, Lexington spoke up, her expression faintly troubled.
"Commander, the northern Abyssal flagship formation has been sighted."
Hikaru straightened immediately. "Report."
"They… are rather few."
Night had fallen, storms cloaking the sea.
Abyssal Yamato looked up at a streak of rainbow light vanishing into the stormclouds. That sign meant their fleet had been discovered by the enemy's shipgirls.
She shook her head and turned. "I still think we're too few."
Indeed, their flagships were not many.
One shipgirl with white hair, horns, and a single glowing eye sat astride a black wyvern-shaped rigging. The massive cannons at her sides radiated sheer menace. She was the six-star Abyssal battleship Hindenburg, level 94.
Another, a mature woman crowned with a bearskin skullcap, wielded a slender sword while black chains wound about her figure. She was the five-star Abyssal battleship Friedrich der Große, level 100.
Beside her hovered a winged demoness, dragging a barbed black tail and spreading pale wings. She was the five-star Abyssal flagship known only as "Lady M," classed as "Flagship," also level 100.
Another perched on a gleaming silver craft with a sci-fi sheen, her rigging glowing like a miniature sun beneath her. The orange-haired girl was the six-star Abyssal destroyer Zumwalt, level 100.
And finally, at the head of them all was a white-haired, red-eyed woman riding two terrifying magma-horned dragons as rigging. Each dragon's gaping maw housed six cannons glowing molten-gold, and their horns doubled as both guns and brutal melee weapons.
She was the six-star Abyssal battleship Musashi, historically the sister ship of the super-battleship Yamato.
But Abyssal Yamato didn't dare call her "little sister." This Musashi's power was immense—level 107, a great figure sent down from above.
