Chapter 93 - Chapter 94: The Big Mek Development Plan

Chapter 94: The Big Mek Development Plan

In the initial battle, Lucan hadn't expected this group of Orks to be utilizing Golden Age technology.

And the other Orks on this planet didn't have a warship for them to "fink" about.

And the manpower shortage was also easy to solve. Wasn't Kerrigan here?

Lucan wanted to see whose reproduction was faster, the Greenskins' or the Zerg's macro game.

And when battle occurred, it wouldn't matter how many spores you sprayed; the moment they landed on the Creep, they wouldn't be given any chance to take root and sprout.

And this time, Lucan didn't plan for Kerrigan to only hatch some basic Zerglings. He wanted the Swarm to cover the entire planet and capture as many Mekboyz as possible.

And the three Gorgon-class Battlecruisers, along with his Raiders, would also act in concert with the Swarm. Sure, you Greenskins can get stronger through battle, even "fink" up the opponent's technology.

But that's all on the premise that you have a sufficient advantage or are on equal footing.

Lucan had no intention of giving these Greenskins a chance to develop.

If I kill you before you can "fink" it up, then it's as if you never "finked" at all.

Deciding to act, Lucan retrieved Kerrigan from the warship. Kerrigan, for her part, was exceptionally eager to be able to help her father.

With the destroyed Ork klan's territory as the center, Kerrigan began to hatch larvae, and Drones started to be bred.

And the surrounding Ork corpses were the best nutrients.

Even those spores that had been sprayed onto the ground were already beginning to take root and sprout.

But as the Creep began to spread, these spores no longer had any chance to grow.

Gretchin and Snotlings that were just beginning to form were absorbed by the Creep before they even gained life.

After absorbing the Orks' biomass, the speed at which the Hatchery produced larvae even increased.

One Drone after another began to morph into different hive structures. In just five short days, the former territory of this Ork klan had been completely transformed into a world of the Zerg.

At this moment, looking down from the warship at the constantly writhing Zerg structures, Lucan also felt his scalp tingle.

And Lucan wasn't the only one who thought so; the soldiers from the Mongorte Dynasty shared the same thought.

Some were thinking in their minds, if they were the ones at war with these xenos, what would the final outcome be…

Just thinking about it made them shiver, and they silently prayed for the God-Emperor's protection.

Even with combat suits, it would be difficult to provide adequate protection against the attacks of Hydralisks, Roaches, and Mutalisks.

The acid spewed by the massive Zerg Roaches could not be withstood by even ceramite for long.

And the piercing power of the spines launched by Hydralisks was even greater than that of a C-14. A three-meter-tall Hydralisk, the spines it fired were not as small as bullets; if one were pierced by this thing, a Medic probably couldn't save them.

To quickly complete Lucan's mission, several Queens shared the command pressure for Kerrigan.

The biomass and energy in the immediate vicinity were no longer sufficient to breed more of the Swarm. And at this time, the Swarm had already amassed enough Zerg.

The roars formed by a massive number of Zerg嘶吼 (roaring/screeching) seemed to pierce directly into one's soul.

"Let's move, Kerrigan!"

Hearing Lucan's words, Kerrigan also closed her eyes.

The will of the Queen of Blades began to be transmitted into the consciousness of every single Zerg.

A tide of Zerg, covering the hills and plains, split into different directions and began to head towards the nearest Ork klans.

And the Gorgons followed close behind.

At this moment, in the settlement of an Ork klan, as the sun rose, the Orks awoke from a night of revelry.

They woke up their comrades with their fists.

And the groggy Ork Boyz grabbed an unlucky Grot or Snotling, smashed its head in, and then threw it into the soup pot.

Then they grabbed a bowl of fungus brew and took a couple of hearty swigs.

Today was another beautiful day. The Orks were "finking" about where to go for a good scrap this morning, or where to go kill something.

In the afternoon, perhaps they could go for a joyride somewhere, and by the way, try out the new shoota they had traded from a Mekboy with the dozens of teef they had painstakingly saved up.

And at night, they could follow the boss to another klan's territory for a good, satisfying brawl.

This was the most perfect day for an Ork Boy.

However, this morning was a little different from usual.

The land outside the klan's settlement was, at some unknown point, covered by a sticky, purplish substance.

A brave Grot even went forward, dug out a piece, and tasted it.

"Hey! Tastes pretty good!"

Just as he was about to report his findings to claim credit, the Grot seemed to hear something. He looked up.

A dozen massive Overlords were lurking above this klan's settlement, and circling around them were hundreds of Mutalisks.

These creatures, constantly beating their wings, immediately attracted the attention of all the Orks.

This klan's Warlord also heard the commotion from the Boyz outside. He looked up, and although he didn't know what those things in the sky were, shooting them down was definitely the right thing to do!

He raised his shoota and fired a shot at a massive Overlord.

The bullet pierced the Overlord's carapace, splashing a flower of dark green blood!

And the Warlord's shot seemed to have flipped a forbidden switch.

The Mutalisks began to screech. The orifices on their tails began to spew out one Bladeling after another. Trailing dark green plumes, these living projectiles rained down on the Orks below.

When a Bladeling pierced an Ork Boy's body, the terrifying acid solution within was enough to dissolve the Ork Boy's flesh.

One Ork Boy after another was reduced to a puddle of molten flesh before they even knew what was happening.

"Get 'em down for me!"

At the Warlord's command, gunfire erupted throughout the camp. And just as this group of Orks was focusing their attention on the sky, they didn't notice the ground beneath their feet begin to tremble.

On the horizon, countless Zerg were swarming towards them, an endless tide.

Zerglings and Hydralisks shrieked, and Roaches were like one tank after another. A large number of Zerglings that had morphed into Banelings were also mixed into the Zerg army.

By the time these Orks discovered them, it was already too late.

The Ork Boyz shouted "Waaagh!" and charged forward, but before they could even get close, they were pinned to the ground by Hydralisk spines.

They tried to concentrate their fire. Shootas of various calibers rained down on the Swarm. One Zergling, even Roaches and Hydralisks, were killed.

But their bodies were quickly absorbed by the Creep.

They would soon be converted back into biomass and energy and then be reborn from the Hatchery.

Zerglings charged into the Ork crowd, engaging these Orks in melee. The Ork Boyz discovered that no matter how many they killed, more Zerglings would pounce on them.

And the Ork Warlord here also joined the battle with a massive axe in hand.

The Nobz following him were close behind.

He swung his axe, continuously chopping down one Zerg after another. Even Roaches and Hydralisks were a matter of a single axe blow.

Unfortunately, just as he was getting into the thrill of the slaughter, dozens of green Banelings sped towards him and his Nobz.

The Warlord still didn't know what these green things were. He shouted "Waaagh!" and swung his axe directly at a Baneling.

The Baneling instantly burst open. Acid capable of corroding everything instantly enveloped this Warlord and his nearby Nobz.

His entire body's flesh was corroded, yet this Warlord still had some fight left in him. But more Banelings swarmed towards him. Under the suicidal attack of dozens of Banelings, no trace of this Warlord or the Nobz around him could be found, as if they had vanished from the world.

And watching this scene, Lucan was smacking his lips.

"So brave… taking on Banelings in melee. Do you think you're a Templar from the cinematics? Kerrigan, have the Zerg spare those Mekboyz. I want them alive!"

And the Swarm continued to advance. The dead Orks allowed the Swarm to hatch more Zerg, and more and more Mekboyz were captured and taken towards the Stellar Pioneer.

Lucan was going to artificially create a Big Mek.
