Then his gaze fell on Tang Chen. Reverence and curiosity filled his eyes.
"By the way, Lord Tang Chen, are you not the former Clear Sky Douluo, renowned as the unrivaled master of the land?
"If there is anyone in this world named Tang Chen who could ascend to godhood, it could only be you!"
He spoke with utmost respect.
"That's right. It's me." Tang Chen's voice carried pride as he answered gravely.
He then gestured to the youth at his side.
"This here is my great-grandson, Tang San. I believe you may know of him."
"This Lord is called Tang San?" Dai Tianfeng's eyes widened. "That name… Is he the very same Tang San who studied at Shrek Academy with Mubai, who fought together in the Continental Advanced Spirit Master Academy Elite Tournament as part of the Shrek Seven Monsters?"
"That's right. Where is Mubai?" Tang San nodded faintly, then asked directly.
Back when they were still at Shrek Academy—whether in Shrek or in Blue Tyrant Academy—Tang San always addressed Dai Mubai as "Boss Dai."
But now, having ascended as a god, Dai Mubai no longer had the qualifications to be called his "boss."
So now, Tang San simply called him "Mubai."
