Chapter 6 - 6. Ballet practice place.

"Allow me to introduce myself, Miss. My name is Lusi Cheng, Mr. Jonas's secretary." She bowed respectfully to Chelsea.

"Yes, I'm Chelsea Moon. Is my husband in his office?"

"He is, but-" She trailed off, her demeanor suddenly changing to one of concern and confusion.

"But what?"

"Someone else is also inside, Miss."

"Who? A colleague?"

Lusi shook her head, seeming hesitant to elaborate.

"Will you tell me, or should I just go in?" Chelsea's patience was wearing thin.

"There's Miss June."

"Who's Miss June?"

"Um, everyone in the office knows her as someone who's been trying hard to catch Mr. Jonas's attention."

"Catching Jonas?" Chelsea sighed, folding her arms across her chest.

"Yes. Even though Mr. Jonas was still with Miss Shirley at the time, but-"

"Enough. I can handle it."

Lusi was taken aback as Chelsea suddenly pushed the CEO's door open wide. Not pushed, actually, she kicked it open forcefully, without any guilt, causing the two people inside to look at her in confusion.

However, Lusi was more shocked by the scene inside: a woman named June was sitting on the desk, right next to Jonas, her mischievous hands touching Jonas's face.

Oddly, Chelsea's husband seemed unfazed, as if no one was beside him.

"Good grief! That woman." Lusi couldn't respond further, hurrying back to her cubicle as Chelsea entered Jonas's office.

June clicked her tongue in annoyance, her flirting with Jonas interrupted by Chelsea's arrival. June was wearing a revealing dress that showcased her entire figure, a type of clothing more suitable for a night out at a KTV bar, not a CEO's office.

"Who-"

"Jonas, are you very busy?" Chelsea cut off June's words, striding confidently towards her husband's desk. Jonas glanced at June, motioning towards the door.

"Leave, my wife is here." June had to back down, picking up her handbag and bidding farewell.

"Alright, I'll visit another day." She shot Chelsea a scathing look before exiting the office.

"Wow! My presence seems to have interrupted your intimate moment."

Jonas closed his documents, his gaze cold as he looked at his wife. "What brings you here?"

"Of course, I'm here to see my husband. Is that wrong?" She moved to the sofa by the window, sat down, and pulled out several containers with different meals, placing them on the coffee table. "I cooked lunch for you, like a devoted wife."

"I'm busy and don't have time to eat anything." He didn't even manage to say "thank you" or acknowledge Chelsea's effort; instead, he immediately rejected her offer.

"Really? Then I'll just leave it here with you." She stood up, unphased, as their relationship always had a vast distance between them, even when they were physically close.

If anyone thought Chelsea would be heartbroken seeing Jonas with another woman, they were wrong; she only hoped Jonas would interact with her when she appeared, not seeking anything more that might alter her original intentions.

"I'll head home."

Jonas didn't respond, merely watching Chelsea's back as she walked out the door.

"That annoying man!"

Lusi remained frozen as Chelsea muttered under her breath after leaving the CEO's office. "Oh no! Did Miss Chelsea and Mr. Jonas have a fight because of that woman, huh?"

She was still focused on Chelsea when Jonas appeared at the door, startling Lusi, who nearly fell off her chair. "Yes, sir?"

"Have you thought about what you'll have for lunch?" Lusi shook her head innocently. "Take the food from my desk, you can eat it, and don't share it with anyone."

"Huh?"

Jonas had closed the door, leaving Lusi confused. She quickly followed her boss's instructions, picking up the food containers and paper bag that Chelsea had brought.

"This is French food. How could Mr. Jonas refuse to touch it?" She sighed, looking at the contents of the containers, feeling a bit disappointed that Jonas had declined the delicious meal.

During lunch, Lusi didn't leave her cubicle. She stayed there, eating the French food that Chelsea had cooked while watching a drama on her laptop.

"Uncle, can you take me to the ballet class?"

"Ballet class?" Daniel Jiang confirmed, without stopping driving, they had already left the Emerald Group building.

"Yes, I want to go there."

"Alright." He checked the maps, looking for the nearest ballet class that they could reach at the moment.

Chelsea was so excited when she found the place, she quickly approached the administrator and asked for permission to enter.

"Do you want to enroll your daughter? Or sister? Niece?" The ballet coach looked around, confused because she didn't see any girls around Chelsea.

"No, I don't have a child, nor a sister or niece. I just want to watch the kids practice ballet. Is that okay?"

"This-"

"Don't worry, I won't cause any trouble, and if you need anything, I can help." Chelsea felt she needed to offer something to get permission to enter easily. However, it wasn't money, but Jonas Li's business card.

"This is my husband's business card, the CEO of Emerald Group."

The coach was stunned when she received the card, she didn't expect to be dealing with the wife of a conglomerate in Beijing.

"Ah, alright, ma'am. You can watch them practice, follow me."

"Thank you."

Chelsea followed her, passing through the reception area, and walking down a long corridor before arriving at a large room filled with about five girls aged between six and eight, they looked adorable in their pink ballet costumes.

Chelsea smiled warmly, waving her hand when the kids looked at her in confusion.

"That lady just wants to watch you practice," the ballet coach said as Chelsea Moon sat on the sofa in the corner of the room.

"Is she mean?" one of the kids asked.

"I don't think so. Look, she's very pretty, like a fairy," another kid replied.

Chelsea remained calm, not interfering or preventing their activities. The room surrounded by glass effectively eliminated Chelsea's cold demeanor, she always smiled sincerely whenever the girls in front of her moved according to the coach's instructions.

Their bodies looked flexible, indicating they had practiced for a long time and mastered every movement.

"Ma'am, if you want to see their ballet performance, you can go to the opera house next week."

"Really? They'll perform in front of a lot of people?"

"Yes, ma'am. Here's a ticket for you if you can come."

The coach handed Chelsea two tickets.

"How much does it cost?"

"No need, I'll give it to you for free, ma'am. You just have to come and watch them."

Chelsea's face flushed.

"Thank you very much, coach. I'll definitely come and give those sweet kids a round of applause."
