The Whispering Walls

Chapter 1: The Arrival

Emma Holloway, a promising artist, moves into the historic Evermere Mansion, drawn by its eerie charm and affordable rent. The sprawling estate, draped in ivy and shadowed by towering oaks, whispers of forgotten stories. On her first night, Emma hears faint scratching sounds in the walls. Convinced it's just the age of the house settling, she brushes it off—until she notices the scratches form strange, almost deliberate patterns.

Chapter 2: Unveiling the Past

Emma's curiosity leads her to the mansion's dusty library, where she uncovers the tragic story of the Mason family, the mansion's previous owners. The youngest daughter, Lillian, mysteriously vanished, and the mother was found dead, claw marks etched into her arms. Disturbed but intrigued, Emma feels an odd kinship with Lillian, as if the girl's presence lingers. The scratching sounds become more persistent, morphing into what sounds like muffled whispers.

Chapter 3: Fractured Reality

As Emma immerses herself in her art, her paintings grow darker, almost subconscious reflections of the mansion's sinister history. One night, a portrait she didn't remember painting appears on her easel—a girl with hollow eyes and clawed hands. The whispers become clearer, seeming to plead for help. Doubt creeps in—are these manifestations of her own mind or echoes of the mansion's tormented past?

Chapter 4: The Locked Room

Determined to find answers, Emma searches the house for hidden spaces and discovers a locked door behind a tapestry. After prying it open, she enters a small, dust-coated room with a child's bed and toys scattered around. On the wall, claw marks spell out "HELP ME." Emma's fear spirals—she's no longer sure if she's alone or if Lillian's spirit is trapped
