To be honest, just as Titan didn't care whether the Haotian Sect lived or died, he also had no real concern for whether this three-party alliance could actually withstand the invasion of the Sun Moon Empire.
The reason Titan had pushed for the formation of this alliance was simple: to buy time.
Before the God Realm could reestablish its connection with the Douluo Continent, he needed to prevent the Sun Moon Empire from unifying the continent. That was all.
As long as that goal was achieved, Titan didn't care how many casualties the Haotian Sect, Shrek Academy, or the Holy Spirit Cult suffered.
After all, weren't they all so devoted to their Ancestor Tang San?
If sacrifices were required for Tang San's ten-thousand-year grand plan, surely they wouldn't refuse, right?
With that mindset, Titan folded his arms across his chest and watched the battle between Tang Wei and Ye Xishui with a look of amusement.
Both were Level 99 Ultimate Douluo.
Under circumstances that could not be disclosed, divine inheritances no longer existed on the Douluo Continent—making Level 99 the absolute pinnacle of power.
Tang Wei possessed the secret techniques of the Haotian Sect, but Ye Xishui was by no means an easy opponent.
Even with Tang Wei fighting at full strength, he couldn't suppress her.
Of course, the reverse was also true.
If the battle truly came down to life and death, one of them would certainly fall—but the survivor would be severely wounded as well.
And with the Sun Moon Empire watching like a tiger stalking prey, no matter how much they despised one another, they could only hold back.
Seeing that neither side had any intention of continuing, Mu En stepped forward to smooth things over.
"That's enough," he said calmly. "I invited you here to discuss how to respond to the Sun Moon Empire's declaration of war."
"As allies, there's no need for us to fight among ourselves."
Tang Wei withdrew his Clear Sky Hammer and snorted disdainfully.
"Our Haotian Sect will never associate with evil soul masters. Even if we fight the Sun Moon Empire, we will never accept help from the Holy Spirit Cult within the Haotian Empire."
"As I said before, if any evil soul masters appear within our territory, we will kill them on sight—without mercy."
Mu En's expression darkened. At this point, even he found Tang Wei unbearable.
If the Haotian Sect were really as powerful as Tang Wei claimed, would Titan have needed to personally propose this alliance?
They'd merely wiped out the Body Sect and seized control of the Heavenly Soul Empire, yet they were already this arrogant?
Who was the real evil sect here—the Holy Spirit Cult, or the Haotian Sect?
Since Tang Wei showed Ye Xishui no respect, she naturally returned the favor.
"Don't pretend your Haotian Sect is some beacon of virtue," Ye Xishui said coldly.
"You exterminated the Heavenly Soul royal family and nobility, slaughtered them to the last. Even civilians who resisted weren't spared."
"How are you any different from our Holy Spirit Cult?"
"Do you really think renaming the Heavenly Soul Empire to the Haotian Empire suddenly makes you righteous?"
Her sharp words instantly darkened Tang Wei's expression.
Yes, the Haotian Sect had annihilated the Heavenly Soul royals and nobles—and even the resisting civilians.
But in their own eyes, they were saving the ignorant masses.
Those people were simply too foolish to understand what would happen once the Sun Moon Empire unified the continent.
They resisted Haotian rule blindly.
Therefore, the Haotian Sect was unquestionably just.
Completely different from the Holy Spirit Cult, a gathering of evil soul masters.
As an elder of the Haotian Sect, Tang Wei would never allow anyone to tarnish their name.
He glared at Ye Xishui, his voice deep and heavy.
"What? Is the Holy Spirit Cult challenging the Haotian Sect?"
"Do you want us to wipe you out before dealing with the Sun Moon Empire?"
The Holy Spirit Cult, with its two Ultimate Douluo, was indeed a top-tier force.
So what?
Before the Haotian Sect, they were nothing.
If Ye Xishui insisted on courting death, Tang Wei was more than happy to oblige.
But as Zhongli Wu had once said in Mingdu—
Only the Holy Spirit Cult threatened others. No one threatened them.
As the Supreme Elder of the Holy Spirit Cult, Ye Xishui was long accustomed to absolute authority. She even barked orders at Long Xiaoyao—how could she tolerate Tang Wei's arrogance?
She laughed in extreme anger, her eyes brimming with killing intent as she stared at Tang Wei.
"Fine. Then let me see whether you're truly qualified to speak to me like that."
The atmosphere grew dangerously tense. A clash between the Haotian Sect and the Holy Spirit Cult seemed imminent.
Mu En quickly stepped forward, his voice heavy.
"Enough! Do you all think the Sun Moon Empire doesn't exist? That it can be destroyed with a snap of the fingers?"
"If you insist on this attitude, then do as you please. But don't regret it when you're both gravely wounded—and the Sun Moon Empire wipes you out."
Truth be told, Ye Xishui didn't really care whether the Holy Spirit Cult survived.
She wanted to unify the continent and rule supreme—but if that proved impossible, she didn't mind going insane at the end.
If she couldn't destroy the world, she'd at least drag as many people down with her as possible.
And since Tang Wei had provoked her, he would definitely be one of those dragged into the abyss.
Fortunately, Long Xiaoyao understood Ye Xishui's temperament. Before things truly exploded, he pulled her back.
"Mu En is right. Our priority is dealing with the Sun Moon Empire—not fighting our allies."
"If we do that, we're all dead for sure."
Mu En didn't look at Tang Wei this time. Instead, his gaze shifted to Titan, who had been watching the entire affair like it was entertainment.
"You're really not going to intervene?" Mu En asked."If this continues, this alliance has no reason to exist."
Under Mu En's stare, Titan shamelessly nodded.
"Fair enough. Let's end the arguing here."
"Now, let's discuss how to deal with the Sun Moon Empire."
