Provoked into fury again, the Ice Emperor lunged at him, roaring to teach him a lesson.
The Snow Emperor, however, simply watched with a smile, neither stopping nor participating.
In fact, the Snow Emperor knew full well that the Ice Emperor's strong reaction stemmed not only from witnessing their earlier actions but also from her own special feelings toward Huo Yuhao.
Watching him consummate with the Snow Emperor right before her eyes—how could the Ice Emperor remain indifferent?
But the Snow Emperor had already won too much. From now on, she could sit back and let others handle themselves as they pleased.
The only uncertainty remained: whether Gǔyuè Nà, who had been caught in her scheme, would lose control.

"Who would be afraid of that?"
Though she said it, she quickly followed, and the three of them slowly departed toward the northern outskirts together.
Ever since learning that Huo Yuhao and the Snow Emperor had secretly gone to the Extreme North, the atmosphere among the girl group had shifted dramatically.
Though they still participated in the war between the Sun-Moon Empire, Shrek Academy, and the Holy Spirit Sect, everyone was somewhat distracted—even Gǔyuè Nà.
As days passed, their emotions shifted repeatedly.
Now, they were gritting their teeth, waiting for Huo Yuhao's return.
They wanted to see if this time Huo Yuhao could still use the excuse of focusing on his work to refuse them.
"Damn it! It's been several days—why haven't Huo Yuhao and the Snow Emperor returned? Don't they know how important this war is?"

Now, she found herself in a dilemma.
Just as she sulked over this, two figures suddenly appeared in her perception.

Gǔyuè Nà whipped her head around and saw them—Huo Yuhao and the Snow Emperor, who had been away for days!
