He stayed hot on her heels as they ran through the forest. He tackled her to the ground a couple of times, but due to her small figure, she always managed to slip from his grip, easily dashing away from him.
Luckily, she made it to the clearing behind the cabin after a while of searching. The sight and smell of delicious barbecue made her mouth water incessantly.
She felt him come up behind her as she watched an older man turn the meat on the stand so the other side could cook as well.
Without thinking, she shifted, immediately putting on the clothes that were now hanging low on her waist.
Theo mirrored her actions, standing by her side, both of them coming down from their high.
"You're tiny and sneaky, do you know that?" He said softly, her ears reddening as his deep voice, she hadn't heard in hours, filled them.
"If you're not big and scary, you have to be small, sneaky and smart. Or else, you'll die." She retorted proudly, her voice coming off weaker than she'd expected.
