Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Randy

[Todays Date, Is July 8th, 2031. the time is 22:01 Midnight. The Location is Quasar Ilse, Central Connections College, in 2 hours time, a crime that kills 3 students will occur, but the way they died, Leave the detectives confused..]

A dorm door opens on the fourth floor as, a 19 year old boy walks through. he closes and locks the door behind him, throwing his bag on one of the beds of the three inside the dorm. he dimmed the lights as he took off his shoe's and walked towards the bed, sitting down on it with a long sigh. he took a laptop out of his bag and charged it. he took out his phone from his pocket as he went to his contacts and pressed on a contact named "Side Piece"

"..."

it rang and rang before someone picked up

"Your calling Side Pieces. I regret to inform you, we are closed."

...It was a fast food place.

His name is Randy, and as stated before, he's one of the many students in Central Connections college, Its one of the only college's that give you an education for free as long as your grades are passing.

Randy set the phone down on the windowsill, he looked a bit disappointed.

"...Guess we're not getting that limited time meal."

Every Night after any test, without fail, randy would order the dorms usual delivery spot for a limited meal exclusive for this college's students, but apparently it was closed.

He rubbed his eyes and let out a slow breath. The room buzzed faintly from the old LED lights above, one of them flickering just enough to be annoying but not enough to warrant fixing.

It felt like another night.. here in central connections college.

His bag sat open on the bed. Textbooks, binders, notes and other stuff was laid out on the bed as if he was going to read them.

Randy looked up at the dorm door, as he heard a knock.

"It's open!"

It in fact wasn't unlocked.

Randy, listening to the sound of keys from the other side of the door, got up to go open it, but eventually sat back down when he saw the door open.

Jokaba entered first, he had a stupid smirk on his face and that same beat up hoodie he claimed gave him good luck because it was torn at the elbows, he had dyed his hair orange, because of a bet he lost.

Luma followed close behind, her head down and green earbuds still in her ears, blending in with her dark green hair. She gave a nod towards randy as a silent hello, and pushed her glasses up, and sat on her bed, the nearest to the door.

"Guess who got the midterm answer sheet in advance!"

Jokaba Yelled out as if the camera's outside the dorm didn't record audio. he dropped himself down onto the beanbag chair near Randy's desk, his face had a pleased expression as he sunk into the cold beanbag..

"I doubt it was you."

"it was me."

"I knew it, you can't even keep your voice down at night, ho-..."

Randy stopped talking abruptly, as his eyes widen.

"You actually did it?!"

"Nope"

Randy threw one of the many binders he had on his bed at Jokaba

"Idiot!"

"I could've done it if the guy hadn't change the password, for the fifth time, THIS WEEK!"

Jokaba Replied

"would've, should've, could've. Didn't!"

Randy Retorted..

As the two went back and forth Luma quietly pulled out a sketchbook from her bag and flipped it open. Randy And Jokaba would always take peaks at it when she leaves to take out the trash, the notebook has a lot of half finished sketches of people, they didn't have any face's, just some limbs with some incorrect anatomy, but Luma came to college to study art anyways..

Randy walked back to his bed and plugged in his phone taking a deep breath before speaking

"So.. about that limited"

"What about it?"

Jokaba asked curiously.

"its.. well.. the place is-"

"Closed?"

Luma finished Randy's sentence..

"I'm not suprised, you and Jokaba thought it was a good idea to not pre-order it this time."

Randy thought..

"So that's why huh.."

Jokaba got up from the beanbag chair and groaned.. he took his student ID and wallet

"damn, and I was hoping to break my diet"

"You weren't on one to begin with"

Randy Mumbled

"I'm gonna head over to the vending machine, I'm thinking college struggle food Volume 2, Microwavable's. want me to pick something for you two?"

Luma Shook her head

"Get me some pizza rolls please."

Randy Said.

"And if you get me anything other pepperoni consider the beanbag chair gone"

Jokaba nodded, and walked toward the door before stopping.

"that's odd.. there's no more noise coming from the hallway.."

"maybe they all went to bed early. like I'm going to do in a few minutes" She said, a yawn escaping her mouth as she closed her notebook

"Doubt it, You two were out there when the rest of the class talked about being up all night.."

Randy added.

Jokaba answered swiftly

"Exactly my sentiment."

The three Looked at each other, a long silent followed. before they all felt a rumble, they looked at the window and all of their minds went blank, visions black... it happened in a blink of an eye... ... ...

It was a truck, a truck flew into the fourth floor as if it was thrown at light speed. blood flew all over the dorm, if you can even still call it that, it looks like a kindergarten art experiment with all the red splattered all across the room.. no one knew how the truck got in.. in fact no one noticed until the next day at 3 in the morning, 2 students took out the trash together as they saw the truck, one of them narrowly avoiding one of its fallen tires. Detective's, cops and higher authority's studied the scene, taking the bodies of the students... 3 of them...

Randy Noid

Jokaba Mera

Luma Lilac

Their bodies could be barely made out... the parents were notified hours later... as they Detectives asked the parents questions but the parents had nothing to say, I mean their own children took from them in such a bizarre way.. there was no doubt they'd be grieving for a while... so the detectives soon moved onto the student's. The students all had they same answer. they didn't hear anything, not even the blood from the bodies as the splat against the wall... it was A mystery... not a normal one to solve.
