I stood at the edge of the clearing, my heart racing as I watched Kael and his father clash. "You did what you had to do," I said softly, my hand resting over his heart. "And you've proven that you're more than capable of leading."

"I was only the spark," I said, smiling gently. "The fire was always inside of you."
