————————————————————————
He opened his eyes as he crash landed onto the ground with his fist and knee. The first thing he felt was the cool, blissful air that brushed along his biceps. The intense drop in humidity compared to when Izuku was in Hell. The soft chirps in the air as little creatures were perched up in branches and trees.
He couldn't believe it. After 6 eons spent in eternal damnation, he had finally made it back to Earth. Those chirps. It was birds. The faint laughter's he could hear from a little ways away was from humans that filled with him with a longing. His mind, trained for slaughter and survival, struggled to process something so simple.
...peace.
The colors of Earth seemed impossibly bright after the endless charred reds and blacks of the infernal realms; even the smell of grass and fresh soil felt overwhelming, filling him with a certain relief.
Just then he heard footsteps approaching him, "Hey! Are you okay?"
He turned slowly to be met with two females...two people. Right. He was back on Earth. The beings have sentient emotional minds so he needs to start referring to them as that again.
The former was a middle-aged woman Japanese woman with long, dark, green hair with a sort of pear shaped body structure. The latter following behind, was a similar replica but with a high ponytail and younger. He assumed it was her daughter.
His first interaction with humans and he doesn't really know what to do or say, so he just stayed silent. Inko took advantage and walked up to him a little attentively as she finally saw the person in front of her. She was immediately taken aback by how ridiculously huge and big he was. The full body armour covering he wore made the person standing in front of her frighteningly large.
It didn't help that the helmet he wore had a tinted black visor that she couldn't make out who it was inside. Nonetheless, she wanted to make sure this person was alright from the strikes from the skies.
"Are you hurt anywhere? We saw a strike from above and your the only one here in the vicinity so we came to make sure your...alright...?" she gulped a little when she saw the armoured individual looming a little over her so she moved back.
"Excuse me! Are you perhaps a hero? You don't seem injured...but I can call an ambulance anyway!" the girl shouted from behind the older woman as Izuku blinked a little.
She was speaking a different language to English. Luckily for him, his helmet was able to decipher the language as Japanese and blinked once more.
Hero?
'I need to catch up with the history...it's been too long,' he thought. This conversation wasn't going to lead him anywhere so he turned around and walked forward.
Inko saw this and was about to stop him, but he turned the corner. Rushing to the alley Izumi and her saw that the individual vanished into thin air. They both just stood dumbly wondering what that was, unable to make heads or tails on what just occurred.
"Should we report this...?" Izumi asked her mother as Inko nodded with her eyes a little narrowed.
"Let's head back ho—" a ring came sounding as Inko checked her pocket to see her husband phoning her.
"Honey is everything okay?" Inko answered.
"Yeah, I just came back home. Where are you two?" All Might wondered but his wife answered back calming his thoughts.
"We just stepped out because another strike came," Inko said back as she looked across the deserted alley.
"Oh no! Are you alright?! Is Izumi okay?! Is anyone hur—"
"Dad! We're okay!" Izumi chimed in as Toshi let out a sigh of relief.
"Oh thank goodness," All Might said aloud but returned his serious expression," You two need to come back here, I have some new intel about the strikes from the meeting."
"Don't worry we'll be back...we also have a little bit of news..." Inko said quietly as she cut the call and looked towards Izumi who nodded as they both flew back home. Inko was still a pro hero which allowed her daughter to also use her quirk under the strict guidelines of not using a quirk in public unless under the supervision of a professional hero.
The Slayer walked down a quiet yet busy street under the horizon as he looked all around him, taking in his new situation. It was comforting him a little that he was back on Earth. Having spent eternity in Hell and fighting through all those hordes for eons, he never thought he would be back on God's green Earth again.
Ah. God. The same God who is the Devil.
He shook his head as this wasn't the time for nostalgia though. It was clear that people had superpowers all around him. Those same superpowers being the maykr's that he oh so despised. However he couldn't really do anything as no one was affected by them. It seemed that everyone was just fine. Even those two women that seemed to emit a green-like energy. It was however extremely weak. Not that he cared though.
It does seem to him that there was a vague idea on what his final goal will be. The destruction of quirks. More so the destruction of the maykr's. So, as much as he wanted to enjoy a little silence after annihilating all of Hell, he still couldn't rest. He had to find a way to carry out his final goal in a way that does not involve killing the humans. They were innocent and they were not involved in the coming conflict.
He turned the corner to see people riddled all over the high street, but what he confused him a little were the bizarre features of certain..humans? Could he say that? He raised an eyebrow seeing a young woman talking to a young man who was made out of rock whilst she was a dragon like head with lizard features around her arms and legs.
'I seriously need to re-jog my memory because what the hell is going on?' Izuku thought annoyed in his head as he couldn't understand why everyone was a little different from one another. It was the maykr's doing for all this to occur but he still didn't quite understand why so bizarrely it was done.
Either way, everyone was different.
Getting over that, the Doom Slayer continued exploring under the dusk of the horizon as he entered the city before walking towards the entertainment district. Filled with dazzling lights and different venues he could remember, such like restaurants, bars movie theaters and the lot.
There were many young people out and about relishing in the soon to be night life, some also having the different make ups of animals and materials as their physical features. Even so, the people did get along well with one another despite the changes in physical attributes. He continued walking past citizens who although not frightened, were a little put off by the massive size of the large armoured man. It did however serve as a purpose of entertainment for them as there were those who noticed him.
"Yooo! Check out the armour! He is defo a Pro Hero!"
"Nahh not gunna lie, that looks cold!"
"Bro, stop bothering him, he's probably on patrol.." another bystander said quickly slapping his drunk friend before dragging him away.
Again with the hero nonsense. Everyone was mistaking him as a hero. Although he could understand with him walking around casually as if he was doing patrol, he wasn't.
Like. He just got here.
He turned to see a TV in a display of a electronics store with people gathered round it as they saw what unfolded on the screen. His curiosity was further peaked when he saw what happened.
"Earlier today, a fire had broken out in the far district of Musutafu where a warehouse was set ablaze, which had trapped civilians inside. The fires were luckily extinguished by the efforts of Backdraft and the civilians were saved by Mt. Lady and Kamui Woods."
The news footage displayed the burning warehouse as smoke filled the air but a spray of water was being hosed onto it calming down the flames. Backdraft was on the scene as he sprayed fountains of water from hose spigots attached to his hands. Behind him was the giant hero who raised her arms before clapping, which had created a gust of wind forcing the smoke to move away. Soon after the wooden Hero sent out elongated parts of himself into the now calmed fires before pulling out multiple civilians.
"Another two Heroes have made it to the scene with it being none other than the fire and ice Duo Calamity and the Number 2 and 6 Hero, Endeavour and Blizzard!"
The camera panned to two opposite looking individuals. One was a large figure who had just jumped from the top of the warehouse and down to the ground carrying a 3 civilians whilst the other was a white haired woman who carried 2 more with her ice type powers. They both made their way to the ground and away from the warehouse before looking back to everyone with small but gracious smiles plastered on their faces.
A twitch could be visibly seen on Endeavour's face when he tried to smile, but Blizzard elbowed him discreetly (not really as it was quite literally being live to everyone) to make him properly smile and so he did, albeit with a little difficulty.
Izuku stared at the screen for a while trying to process once again what he saw. The store's shopkeeper opened the front door to glare at him grouchily, "Hey big guy, Quite gawking and see if you wanna buy something or get los—"
The Slayer at a snails pace turned his head and looked a little down towards him with a look that could not be seen through the visor but could be felt burning through him. The shopkeeper gulped and went back into his shop hurriedly speaking,"You know what, I misspoke. Takeyourtime.!"
The Slayer looked across the skyline as the sun slowly started to creep down. Heroes.
His memory was slowly, very slowly coming back. There were heroes in his world. And that meant there would be villains. This in theory could be a causality.
Strength invites challenge. That challenge incites conflict. And conflict breeds catastrophe. A Whole mess can occur at the end of that path. There will be a war bound to happen if that were the case.
It was all quite the mess right at the moment he saw this. Well, there wasn't much he could do anyway.
Daisy came out and perched up on his shoulder before pointing towards a a building with no apparent beings inside there so Izuku nodded and made his way over. It was true to the fact that Daisy was now no ordinary bunny. She could see from miles away before she had trouble sightseeing and her sense of smell has gone through the roof.
That was why before hand she could smell a hint of a devilish presence on the other side of the world, but no killing intent with it. But she will only be able to tell her guardian about it when they find a suitable place to set up as a base.
"Sys—systems b—back onl—online..."
Izuku came to a halt as he was about to walk out of the city and to the building when he heard a familiar voice.
"Slayer, it is good to be able to communicate with you again."
Izuku nodded a little as he heard VEGA's voice come back to life. He wondered why he didn't hear from him for a while.
"During the process of travelling through the gate, my system had temporarily shut down as new data was being downloaded to my core. It seems that the new data contained info about the current world's information. It is as though the Slayer had given me a parting gift for me and indirectly for you." VEGA spoke out.
Izuku nodded as he felt grateful to his predecessor for being able to help him out even from afar. There was no point in dwelling in the past as he made his way out of the city and into the forests where there was an abandoned building. The exterior had moss all around and scratches all over as he paid no mind and punched his way through the door.
Looking at the inside it was clear the place needed a little bit of a clean but only a small section. If any form of authorities were to come and see that the whole place were cleaned out, then they could use some form of way of being able to track him. He had to be a little cautious as they were humans and didn't want to direct his anger from demons to them.
Finding a chair at the back, he took it and faced it to the wall. Then reaching for his helmet, he took it off and and placed it on the chair and as soon as he did that, a projection coming from his helmet went onto the wall. Perks of having a super artificial intelligence.
Images were shown as he now started piecing together what was going on. As this happened, he felt his dimension storage rustling a little as he opened it before the toys all came out shouting and throwing around stuff.
The demon toys looked around the building in bewilderment before looking at one another and cheering. The Cacodemon and Pain Elemental were flying high as they bumped into each other as a signification of the twin flying brotherhood. Tiny Slayer and the Maruader both crossed their arms and nodding slightly as everyone else were overjoyed.
They all turned over to the blue projections on the wall that Izuku was staring at as they all sat back down and began taking in the information about the current world's order, with VEGA explaining it to them.
"Slayer, to remind you, this is the year 2449 of the Quirk Emergence. The Existence of quirks, which are the superpowers you have currently seen so far, is what is thriving throughout the world. The first known case of the phenomenon was recorded in QuingQuing City of China in 2014. An infant child had emanated light from his body. Since then, people around the world began to exhibit superpowers of their own with abilities still unknown to all. As of now, 80% of the current total population of the planet are quirk users. Meaning 80% of humanity have a small part of the maykr's inside them."
Izuku nodded as he sat down on another chair with Daisy resting on his lap. 80% is alot but not too much compared to how many beings there were down in Hell.
"There has been alot of infighting between the people of the world amidst the rising development of quirks, but it was soon to be accepted and become the social norm to have quirks. Those who did not, were deemed quirkless and some would say, useless."
He narrowed his eyes at this. So a clear sign of discrimination and result of accepting the majority and dismissing the minority. Could this be racism..? No it wasn't about the colour of the skin, it was about quirks so...
'Quirkism..?' he nodded in his head thinking that was the correct term to use in this case.
He didn't want to dwell on it, but the images that VEGA displayed on the wall would say otherwise. These can be considered crimes against the law from what he has seen. Bullying those without quirks. Beaten to an inch of their life.
The demon toys looked away as they didn't want to see it. They thought that humanity would be a kind and nice place and even though they were demons, they thought they could be accepted. But did they want to be accepted at all by them...?
They can't imagine the thought that someone could go through this. They were lucky being able to land with such a strong and powerful leader. (Poor guys don't know their leader experienced the same thing...)
Izuku shook his head and nodded for VEGA to explain more about the current world.
"Due to the emergent quirks and the large uprising of them, there were several wars that happened throughout the history and Pro heroes had emerged. Heroes and other like-minded organizations were formed in order to protect the people from those who used said quirks, for malevolent and malicious intents. generally referred to as villains. The number of enhanced individuals had then further increased."
So he was right. Due to a war and the heroes being present, these 'villains' had made themselves known to challenge the current authority.
"Coming to the present day and for many years before, a hero had made his way through. The number one Hero of the world and the Symbol of Peace: All Might. His presence alone was a source of inspiration, instilling hope in people and fear in villains, a powerful psychological tool that served as a tangible demonstration of his capabilities and the power of heroism itself."
An image of a large figure popped up of a man of pure muscle, wearing a multi-coloured bodysuit. He displayed a rather large yet proud smile on his face with darkened eyes and blonde hair. Two large peaks pointing to the air like antennas.
'...So this is All Might. The strongest being in the world,' he thought as Izuku walked closer to the projection.
He seemed to be a strong man with all that hulking muscle. A video came up as this video was one of the most viewed ones on the internet. All Might appeared in his iconic, larger-than-life fashion, muscles bulging and a huge smile spread across his face. He dashed into action and was seen rescuing the civilians from a burning building. He carried a number of people out effortlessly, moving with incredible speed and strength. Despite the danger, he remained calm and reassuring. The fire and smoke made the situation chaotic, however his booming voice and trademark smile gave everyone confidence that they were safe.
"There's no need to fear! Why? BECAUSE I AM HERE!" All Might in the video shouted smiling. He handed the injured civilians gently to the doctors in the ambulance and shot right off to the next set of fires.
Izuku looked at All Might with a hint of interest. If he was the number one then, could he be the strongest being in the world? It said that his presence in Japan alone was able to decrease the number of villains to under 6% in his prime era.
But that time of prime All Might had passed and it slowly increased. Not to the amount where it was similar to other countries, but it was a slow climb.
VEGA then proceeded to explain to the Slayer about the technology and if was up to par with his current weaponry. It wasn't like he needed to know but Izuku was curious if they were able to advance in technology.
"This world has had technological advancement since the emerging of quirks, but after around 50 years science was not as concerned with technology but had moved over to the study of quirks. There are technologies capable of being handy, however they do not match up to the standard of the weapons and tech from Argent D'Nur and the Union Aerospace Corporation."
It did kind of bum him out that after all this time, they were not able to advance, but nothing could be done. Speaking of which he wondered how much time had passed since he came back.
Izuku tapped his wrist with a finger indicating how long it's been as VEGA understood his implications, "Slayer, it has been a little over 6 eons since you have stayed in Hell, but the current world has only passed around more than a year."
He paused. Only a year had passed since his time there. Much was not said as he sat in silence for a while thinking about this. It was surreal to think he was back but honestly, he didn't feel like he belonged here at all. The current world where he was an out right stranger to everyone. He had fought for eons and now he was suddenly supposed to settle in this thriving world which for some reason, the maykr's have yet to make a move.
He shook his head as he slowly clenched and unclenched his fists. Luckily for him though, his toys surrounded him and shaking their heads as if urging him not to give up. Even his bundle of joy sat up from his lap and nodded jumping up and down. Izuku let out a sigh and nodded to himself before slapping his face a little to get back in the right head game.
Just then, Daisy hopped off his lap. His bunny hopped towards the projection as she opened her paws wide. Izuku looked a little confused, but went to his helmet and flicked to a world map as Daisy hopped to the west side of the planet. She pointed right down in what seemed to be the country of America and the western side.
'Los Angeles...what's over there?' Izuku paused.
He slowly grinded his teeth as he felt a sudden wave of anger wash over him. This anger only comes when demons and devilish entities were focused on a certain area. And as of now he could feel a satanic entity right bang in the centre of it. Just as he was ready to get up, Daisy went infront of him again and shook her head.
Izuku frowned confused. Why would she shake her head?
"Slayer, you already know of Daisy's heightened sense of smell to the point of smelling harmful intent. And right now, Daisy is not sensing any form of killing intent from the entity. Scans indicate that there is a demon in Los Angeles in a nightclub. Do you wish to go there Slayer?" VEGA suggested but seeing Daisy shaking her head made Izuku less likely to go.
Daisy always had a knack for knowing what could be right or wrong and Izuku felt this was also one of those times so for now...he will let that entity be.
As of now, he needed to get his current bearings and what he will need to do in order to survive the current society of Heroes and Villains.

[All Might's House, 9:39pm]
"He was standing there...right after the strike came?" Toshinori nodded as he heard his daughter and wife explain to him what happened.
"Yeah!" Izumi nodded as she gulped a little,"Like he just stood there and then walked off without even talking to us."
Inko nodded as she rubbed her head,"I tried searching up for a rather large man with dark green armour and a black cape, but nothing came up...so I don't think he is a Hero..."
Toshi looked down in thought after what his wife said. They all had their meeting's about how their individual days went every night with each person accounted for save for...one person, but they couldn't do anything about it.
"...Could it be a villain?" Toshinori suggested with a thoughtful look on his face as Inko looked a little unsure.
"I'm not entirely sure," she spoke,"He could've done anything, but didn't so there was no reason to suspect anything except for the strike so we had to make sure he was okay...but then he walked off into an alley and then disappeared."
"Is there any photos of him?" Toshi asked but they both shook their heads.
"Caught up in the moment," Izumi shrugged as she twirled her hair whilst nursing her face with an ice pack,"...It's hard. Being a hero."
They both looked at her. Izumi looked down as she bit her lip a tiny bit,"If it were Izuku...he would never give up...no matter how hard it would be."
Toshinori and Inko looked down in guilt and pain as they recalled their son. The one they were supposed to protect and love with all their heart and soul with no doubt at all...and they neglected them.
It was not heroic. It was not good. It was just pure evil of them to do that. Neglecting the child they brought into their life? How could they do such a thing...
Inko had tears brimming a little as she tried to wipe them but Toshi, being the man that he was, wiped them away. She still had nightmares. Oh..Those god awful nightmares of her son being taken away from her over and over again and she couldn't do a damn thing.
It made her even more depressed to the point that she was almost dropped in hero rankings. She didn't even give a damn about it anymore. All she wanted was to see her son smiling once again...that smile of his which she could only faintly remember back when he was four years of age.
...She truly was the worst mother in the world.
Izumi, sensing that she completely ruined the mood of the room, spoke out,"I-I'm sorry..."
Toshi shook his head,"Don't worry...we know...even if he said he gave up. I know for a fact thaat he would throw everything into his willpower of becoming a hero."
The two females in the ruined family could only nod.
"Anyways though..." Toshi started as he looked even more serious,"The meeting I had with several other heroes and government officials. There were...certain aspects that I did not expect."
"What do you mean...?" Inko asked as she wiped a lone tear away.
"There's a possible chance that...the strikes from the skies...were not...caused by a quirk. And it could be something else..." Toshi said much to the shock of the twin psychic women.
To think that the raging powers that made the world tremble for 7 days straight was not from a quirk. What the hell and who the hell caused it then?
"It wasn't due to the world's natural side. All of it was completely okay. Temperature, climate, levels in the previous storms at sea. All of it was okay before, but then it had consumed the entire planet," Toshinori spoke as his right leg was bobbing up and down in a short form of anxiety.
"So what the hell caused it then...? Those..'strikes from heaven'..." Izumi asked unnerved by the new revelation.
"We..don't know. As of right now, there are experts from all over the world currently researching about the recent attack and some of the world's best scientists, and geothermal experts as well as experts on the planet are coming together for a summit in a rather particular place that we will be going to soon enough," Toshi said as he suddenly had a large grin on his face.
Inko and Izumi both beamed as it was the esteemed trip that the UA school had been organizing for the summer holidays.
"That's right Izumi..." Toshi began buffing up to his All Might form as Izumi jumped in excitement,"The summit will be held during the holiday's at the same place we will spend your school holiday in, I-ISLAND!"
Izumi could only jump up in the air screaming,"YES!"

Rasta clat...boys and girls...Were here.
On the way to I-Island. hehe. hehehehe.HEHEHEHEHEHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
On a real note though there are some things that should be addressed. Izuku forgot everything. After 6 billion YEARS in Hell, do you seriously think he will remember his sister and mother? The only real person he has a connection to is Mary and that was in the photo they took with Daisy as well. (Too which I did not mention in the book...my fault I completely forgot to add it)
Now I-Island is coming. Shit will go down. But still we are carrying on the story so some events will occur before the I-Island Arc
Any questions give it right here x
Gimme your thoughts x
