Chapter 2 - “Stay away from him.”

Wei Zhen was still looking at Liang Feng when the man sitting next to him, Lucifer-who was holding Jin Yue tightly by the waist-looked at the manager and said, "I only want this one. I don't care about anyone else." As he said this, Liang Feng noticed the expression on Wei Zhen's face and asked, "What's wrong with you?"

Wei Zhen pointed towards Jin Yue and stammered, "W…what is Jin Yue doing here?" Hearing Jin Yue's name from Wei Zhen, Liang Feng looked ahead, because he had never seen Jin Yue before-or perhaps, he had never considered it necessary to see him.

Liang Feng stared intently at Jin Yue's face, which had turned red from intoxication. He rubbed his fingers together, then his gaze shifted to Lucifer's hand, still gripping Jin Yue's waist. Seeing this, Liang Feng's expression changed. Without caring about anything else, he stood up from his chair, grabbed Jin Yue's hand firmly, and pulled him towards himself.

Jin Yue, already drunk, couldn't steady himself and fell straight onto Liang Feng, his small head resting on Liang Feng's shoulder. Holding Jin Yue tightly by the waist, Liang Feng looked coldly at Wei Zhen, who quickly stood up from his chair and came closer.

Before Liang Feng could move forward with Jin Yue, Lucifer shouted, "Hey! Where are you taking him? Let him go, he's min-" Before he could finish, Liang Feng grabbed his neck, slammed his head onto the table, and said in a cold voice, "He's with me right now, so I'm letting it go. But that doesn't mean I'll let you off easily. Be ready to bear the pain of touching him."

Saying this, he slammed Lucifer's head onto the table again. The first time, nothing happened to the table, but the second time, since it was made of glass, it shattered and scattered everywhere, making everyone step back in fear. Liang Feng looked at Wei Zhen and said, "Get the car ready. I'm bringing him out. And make sure all the girls here get home safely."

He then looked at everyone standing there and said in a cold voice, "Next time I come here, none of this should be happening. For now, you're all leaving safely, but next time, that won't be the case." With that, he lifted Jin Yue onto his shoulder and walked out.

Striding quickly outside, Liang Feng shoved Jin Yue into the back seat of the car, causing the seat handle to hit Jin Yue's waist and making him whimper. Hearing this, Wei Zhen, worried, asked, "What happened to him? Why is he whimpering?"

Liang Feng replied, "You don't need to worry about him-worry about yourself." Saying this, he turned on the car's partition. Hearing this, Wei Zhen wiped the sweat from his forehead and started driving.

Liang Feng, his fist clenched tightly, looked at Jin Yue, who was curled up and sleeping peacefully on the seat. Seeing this, Liang Feng roughly grabbed Jin Yue's hand and pulled him towards himself, making Jin Yue fall against his chest. Holding Jin Yue's face firmly, Liang Feng said coldly, "Hey…! Open your eyes, I need to talk to you." But Jin Yue's eyes remained closed.

Liang Feng's grip on Jin Yue's hand tightened as he looked at Wei Zhen and said, "Drive to Sarang Palace." Wei Zhen, surprised, looked at him and asked, "What? Do you really want to take him there?" Liang Feng replied, "Just do as I say." He felt something strange.

He lowered his head to look at Jin Yue, who, because of the cold, had buried his head in Liang Feng's overcoat. Seeing this, Liang Feng's expression turned cold. Leaning closer to Jin Yue's neck, he inhaled his fragrance, which made Liang Feng clench his fist tightly and mutter to himself, "Is this an Alpha?" Saying this, he pushed Jin Yue away from himself.

Grinding his teeth in anger, he looked at Wei Zhen and said, "Why didn't you tell me before that he's an Alpha?" Wei Zhen looked at him, and Liang Feng said, "Bring him to his senses. I need to talk to him."

Wei Zhen, driving, replied softly, "What are you saying? He's so drunk right now, how can I bring him to his senses?" Liang Feng said, "You told me he was coming, but you didn't tell me this. Jin Yue came back today, and the way I found him-I won't let it go after he wakes up."

Saying this, he rubbed his fingers on his forehead, loosened his tie, angrily took off his overcoat, and threw it aside. "Ahhh, why is his fragrance so strong? My whole body is burning." Saying this, he grabbed Jin Yue's hand again, pulled him close, and rested his head on Jin Yue's neck.

Liang Feng was sitting with his eyes closed, resting his head on Jin Yue's shoulder. Even though he didn't want to, his hand automatically moved to Jin Yue's waist. Jin Yue, who was already sleeping peacefully, unconsciously moved closer to him. Seeing this, Wei Zhen thought to himself, "He claims to hate him so much, yet he's sitting with him as if he's found some unknown peace." After a moment, he said aloud, "We've arrived, but do you really think you can take him inside through the main gate?"

Palace, which looked beautiful from the outside, was many times more luxurious inside. There was heavy security after the palace gates, and guests were still arriving. Seeing this, Liang Feng said to Wei Zhen, "You go in first, then I'll bring him." Wei Zhen took a deep breath and got out of the car.

Wei Zhen, always seen with Liang Feng, drew the attention of all the reporters, but he ignored them and headed inside. Liang Feng covered Jin Yue carefully with his overcoat, lifted him into his arms, and walked briskly inside. The party was still going on. Liang Feng was taking Jin Yue toward his room when he suddenly saw Zhao Min coming from the front. Annoyed, he muttered, "What the hell…! Did he have to be here right now?" Without another word, he took Jin Yue straight to the guest room, tossed him roughly onto the bed, and said coldly, "You'll stay here for now. It's a shame, though-when you wake up, you'll have no idea what's going to happen to you." Fixing his coat, he left the room.

Liang Feng hurried down the stairs. No one present had expected him to be there, so all the lights focused on him. Ignoring everyone, he hugged his mom, Mei Xiu, and said, "Mom, it was really wonderful to see you after so long…" Then he hugged his dad, Han Wu, and said, "Honestly, I have no interest in meeting you, but…"

"But what?" Han Wu asked, taking a sip of beer. Liang Feng gave a crooked smile and replied, "But I have something to ask you, which is why I came."

Seeing his smile, Han Wu's expression changed, and he asked, "What do you want to ask me?" Liang Feng shook his head and said, "What is the most important thing for you?" Before Han Wu could answer, Liang Feng spoke coldly, "Don't say it's me and Zhao Min bro, because there's something even more important to you than us-and it's more important than me, Zhao Min bro, or Mom."

Han Wu shook his head and replied, "No, that's just your misunderstanding. Nothing matters to me except the three of you. I don't even know why you speak to me so coldly. But please don't do this, it hurts me."

Liang Feng replied emotionlessly, "Sorry, but when you didn't care about my pain back then, I don't care about yours now." Han Wu asked, "What are you saying? When did I not care about you?" Liang Feng laughed and said, "Really? Do you remember the first time I performed at school because you asked me to? I waited so eagerly for you that day, but you didn't come. All the other parents were there-even Mom was there-but you weren't. Maybe it was a small thing for you, but not for me." In his mind, he thought, "And I know very well why-you were with Jin Yue that day." His fists clenched tightly, and he looked at Han Wu, saying, "Don't worry, you don't need to care about me anymore." He leaned in and whispered in Han Wu's ear, "Just make sure you take care of what you care about most."

Hearing this, cold sweat broke out on Han Wu's forehead. He quickly took out his phone and called someone. As soon as the call connected, he asked, "Is Jin Yue safe there? He didn't have any problems, did he?"

The maid working at Jin Yue's apartment replied, "Yes, he's fine, and I think he's still sleeping." Han Wu sighed in relief and said, "Take good care of him. He shouldn't go anywhere without telling you." He hung up and looked back at Liang Feng, who was now talking to Zhao Min.

Watching them, Han Wu thought, "I don't really understand what you're saying, but it's clear you've figured something out." He sat down near the counter. Zhao Min looked at Liang Feng and said, "Good thing you came-otherwise Lian Hua would have killed us with her questions about when you'd arrive." Just then, a girl rushed over and hugged Liang Feng, saying, "Hey! Why are you so late?"

Liang Feng pushed her away and said, "First of all, talk to me from a distance. You know I can't breathe well if someone touches me." Lian Hua replied, "You still haven't gotten over that childhood problem?" Liang Feng said, "Not yet, and honestly, I hope it never goes away-because I'd rather have this than let people like you get close to me."

"What are you saying? I'm your friend!" Lian Hua protested. Liang Feng replied coldly, "You're still alive only because you're my friend-otherwise, you'd be dead by now." With that, he walked away. Zhao Min watched him go and said, "Maybe you should stop trying with him, because he already has someone else in mind."

Lian Hua replied, "That's your misunderstanding. You'll see-one day he'll come to me himself." Zhao Min said, "Maybe you're just standing here dreaming, and maybe you don't know, but he's desperately waiting for someone. And I also don't know who that is."

Lian Hua asked, "Can you tell me where the washroom is?" Zhao Min pointed ahead and said, "Sure, just go straight and take a left-the guest room's washroom is there." Lian Hua glanced at him, clenched her fists, and walked toward the guest room.

Meanwhile, Jin Yue, who was sleeping on the floor, woke up as Lian Hua entered the room and went straight to the washroom. Because of the heat, she took off her jacket and unzipped her dress, breathing deeply. Jin Yue slowly opened his eyes, and seeing himself in an unfamiliar place, stood up in fear, feeling a sharp pain in his head.

Jin Yue walked toward the washroom door. As soon as he opened it and saw Lian Hua, he panicked and stepped back, saying, "Sorry, sorry, miss, I didn't know you were here." Seeing Jin Yue in front of her, Lian Hua shoved him out of the washroom and shouted, "Who are you? And when I locked the room from inside, how did you get in? Are you following me?"

Jin Yue, frightened by her shouting, quickly shook his head and said, "N-no! I didn't do anything, please believe me." Lian Hua stepped toward him and said, "You think I'll believe this nonsense?" She slapped him across the face.

Jin Yue's head jerked to the side, and he began to sob. Lian Hua said, "Are you pretending to cry in front of me now?" She raised her hand to hit him again, but before she could, someone came from behind, grabbed her hand, twisted it behind her back, and slapped her hard on the cheek, saying, "Stay away from him."
