The Grand Priest was in quite a good mood. He suddenly leaned close to Whis's ear and whispered,
"Did you forget about the Super Dragon Balls? If things ever reach an irreversible point, just use them to restore everything!"
Whis's eyes lit up, but his expression quickly darkened again.
"But if the entire universe gets erased, there won't be anyone left to make the wish..."
The Grand Priest smacked his forehead and glared at Whis with a "how can you be so dense" look.
"Idiot! Did you forget about that Uchiha Kaito? He doesn't belong to this dimension, does he? That means Zeno-sama's erasure wouldn't affect him! Just hand the Super Dragon Balls to him as insurance!"
"Oh, right! Why didn't I think of that? Father, you're truly brilliant! I'm impressed!"
The Grand Priest's smile deepened. He wagged his finger and said,
"But still, you have to make sure this Uchiha Kaito can be trusted. If he uses the Super Dragon Balls for something else, it'll anger Zeno-sama, and that'll only make the universe disappear even faster."
"I understand, Father. But I think it'd be best if Vados handled this. As long as she stays on Earth a bit longer..."
"Mhm, I get your point. I'll pretend I didn't notice her abandoning her post this time. But you shouldn't just take Vados's word for it. Given her current attitude, I doubt she'd say anything bad about Uchiha Kaito anyway. Isn't Marcarita also on Earth? She just got into a fight — better hear her opinion too."
Whis nodded repeatedly, practically pulling out a notebook to jot everything down.
Father and son exchanged a smile, said a brief goodbye, and went their separate ways.
...
On Earth—
Marcarita sat cross-legged on the sofa wearing a deep-blue silk pajama set, hugging a bucket of popcorn while watching TV.
The show playing on the screen was the popular drama Angel Baby. Marcarita's hands never stopped moving as she shoveled popcorn into her mouth, eyes glued to the screen.
Next to her, Vados sat on the side sofa in a pajama set matching her angel outfit's colors, holding a cup of ice cream. Compared to Marcarita, her movements were far more graceful.
She scooped small bites of ice cream with her spoon, occasionally glancing at the TV.
Suddenly, Marcarita screamed in frustration,
"What the hell! Why is this male lead so wishy-washy? Just pick one already! Or fine—take them all!"
Vados paused mid-bite. Just as she was about to speak, Marcarita crushed the popcorn bucket in her hands and jumped to her feet.
"I'm gonna lose it! The show's called Angel Baby, but the second female lead gets all the screen time? Let me catch that director — I'll make him taste an angel's wrath!"
As she jumped, bits of popcorn scattered all over the sofa. Vados arched an eyebrow and reminded her,
"Marcarita, you'd better clean up that sofa, or when Kaito gets back, you'll be the one cleaning it anyway."
Still fuming, Marcarita put her hands on her hips and shouted,
"Me? Afraid of him? What was that word he used again? I came here to make his shabby little place shine!"
Vados sighed and rubbed her forehead.
"Kaito said that's an idiom — 'bringing glory to a humble house'. Didn't you realize he was mocking you?"
"Hmph! Who cares? Anyway, what's taking him so long? I'm starving!"
"You're an angel, you can't possibly be hungry. You're just being greedy."
"Same thing! I'm just not in the mood anymore! If he doesn't come back soon, I'll—"

The sound of the front door unlocking interrupted her. Marcarita's angelic ears twitched. Before Vados could even react, she swiftly cleaned up all the popcorn from the sofa, straightened her clothes, and sat properly with her legs together.
The popcorn bucket vanished, replaced by a cup of hot tea. In the blink of an eye, she looked every bit the picture of elegance.
Vados's lips twitched.
"What on earth are you doing?"
Marcarita took a dainty sip of her tea and said calmly,
"Watching TV. Isn't it obvious?"
"I meant this act. Where's that wild side from a minute ago?"
A faint blush crept onto Marcarita's cheeks. She frowned slightly and said,
"What are you talking about? We're guests in someone else's home. How could I act so rudely? Vados, that kind of attitude is dangerous, you know."
Just then, Kaito came in carrying several bags of groceries, with Eighteen holding onto his arm.
Kaito raised an eyebrow at Marcarita's ladylike posture and teased,
"Well, well—who's this proper lady supposed to be?"
Marcarita forced a smile.
"You're back already? You've worked so hard, buying all these groceries. I feel so bad."
"No worries. You can do the shopping next time."
"...Alright!"
"By the way, I heard someone outside say that if I didn't come back soon, she'd do something to me. Was that a threat? Should I be scared?"
Marcarita instantly put on a shocked expression and turned to Vados.
"Did you hear that? I didn't hear anything, did you?"
Vados rolled her eyes but didn't expose her. She simply scooped another bite of ice cream and silently watched Marcarita's performance.
Marcarita let out a secret sigh of relief, then quickly said,
"You must've misheard! Who on this planet would dare lay a hand on you? Whoever it is, tell me—I'll deal with her for you!"
Eighteen couldn't hold it in any longer and burst out laughing. Marcarita's face flushed red as she lowered her head, sipping her coffee awkwardly.
Kaito glanced at the TV, noticed the drama title in the corner, and shook his head with a faint smile.
By the way, Seventeen had found a new girlfriend and already moved in with her.
As for Marcarita, she had insisted on moving in with Vados. Being Vados's younger sister, Vados didn't want her wandering around Earth alone and had spoken a few good words to Kaito. He eventually agreed.
At first, Marcarita's arrogance hadn't gone anywhere—until Kaito messed up her twin tails, turning them into two lazy little buns like a sheep's. After that, she completely behaved herself in front of him.
In fact, just before Kaito came home, she had secretly tucked the ends of her twin tails under her to sit on them—she was genuinely terrified he'd do something to her hair again!
