That night, the Grand Priest was being supported by two attendants, still muttering as they carried him away.
"Good wine, good food… Kaito, Kaito… you might as well just move into my place..."
The three angel siblings all turned their heads away. At this moment, they pretended they no longer had this Grand Priest as a father—it was simply too humiliating.
Of course, with the Grand Priest's abilities, he could easily purge all the alcohol from his body. But tonight he was genuinely happy, so he didn't bother.
The Omni-King was still floating in front of Kaito, arms full of snacks, reluctantly saying goodbye.
"Kaito, you absolutely have to come visit me more often!"
The Omni-King's fondness for Kaito had skyrocketed over the course of just a single day.
Naturally, not just anyone could interact with the Omni-King like this. At the very least, one needed strength far beyond even the Angel race—otherwise, they wouldn't even be allowed to meet him.
Kaito reached out and patted the Omni-King's smooth, bald head. This kind of action would've been considered blasphemous before. If anyone else dared do it, the Omni-King would have waved his little hand and erased a universe on the spot.
But when Kaito did it, the Omni-King wasn't angry at all—he even felt it was a sign of closeness. He loved that feeling.
Kaito smiled.
"Don't worry, I'll visit you often."
"Mm-hmm! When you do, I can even give you a few more universes. I'm too lazy to manage them anyway!"
"Uh… honestly, I'm not very interested in that. Three universes is already too many."
"Alright then! But if you ever take a liking to any other universe, just tell me. We're tight, after all!"
The Omni-King spoke more and more naturally, and every time he said that phrase, he slapped his own chest so hard it echoed.
Eighteen stared at the Omni-King strangely. Was this really the supreme deity who governed all universes?
And yet, the fate of all universes was spinning lightly between Kaito and the Omni-King's casual banter. If the Frieza father–son duo were still alive to hear this, they would've cried from envy.
They only ever sold planets… but here, between Kaito and the Omni-King, a single offhand comment could hand over an entire universe. The gap was simply immeasurable.
After sending the Grand Priest and his group off, Kaito returned home with Vados and the others.
With a casual wave of his hand, all the tableware instantly returned to pristine condition and neatly flew back into the cupboards.
Marcarita suddenly asked,
"Kaito, now that three universes have merged, according to procedure, the God of Destruction from my original universe should come to meet you."
Kaito nodded. This was essentially the equivalent of officials coming to the capital to report to the new emperor. Since he was now the "emperor" of three universes, Universe 7 naturally became the capital.
He was the newly crowned ruler; of course the ones below needed to come meet their new superior.
Vados added from the side,
"No need to let Champa come. He's terrified of you."
Champa truly had trauma from Kaito. He would rather meet the Omni-King than meet Kaito—at least the Omni-King had never beaten him up.
As for Beerus, he went without saying. Although he had spent the whole day as a background character, he had at least managed to show his face around Kaito. From now on he could freeload on Earth for food and drinks—quite the comfortable life.
The next day, Marcarita temporarily headed back to Universe 11. She had to bring the God of Destruction, Belmod, with her.
Without an Angel guiding them, a God of Destruction alone couldn't cross universes.
Once Marcarita left, the house suddenly felt much quieter. Kaito wasn't used to it at first.
He suddenly understood the Grand Priest and the Omni-King a bit more. Staying in that empty Hall of the Omni-King for tens of thousands of years… he would've gone insane long ago.
Sometimes, being a god really wasn't worth it.
...
Meanwhile, the moment Marcarita returned to the God of Destruction's realm, she resumed her original appearance. That angelic authority returned to her.
Belmod had already been waiting in the temple for a long time. He had long since received the news—his universe had a new master.
Not only that, but the Angel who originally guided him had directly become the new master's personal attendant—essentially a promotion.
Upon seeing Marcarita, Belmod hurried forward.
"Marcarita, you've come to pick me up, right? Is that Dragon God-sama requesting to see me?"
Marcarita shook her head.
"Kaito didn't say that. But the merging of universes is a major event. As a God of Destruction, you should at least pay him a formal visit."
"That makes sense. This Kaito you speak of is the Dragon God-sama's actual name, right?"
"Yes. But when you meet him, don't call him that. It's disrespectful."
Belmod froze. Then why did she say it so naturally?
As he stood there stunned, a figure with an extremely "simple" face and a powerful, well-built physique stepped out from the shadows...
This man had large, black, crystal-clear eyes—his appearance resembled the classic alien look from Earth legends. He was the strongest in Universe 11: Jiren.
He slowly approached Marcarita and said,
"Lady Marcarita, I also wish to meet this Dragon God-sama. May I accompany you?"
Belmod frowned.
"Jiren, you're overstepping. The Dragon God-sama's status is unimaginably exalted. You are still a mortal. You do not yet have the qualifications to see him!"
Belmod actually liked Jiren very much. He only said this because he still hadn't figured out Kaito's temperament. After all, the Omni-King had a famously strange personality—slip up once, and you'd be erased.
Jiren was his friend's disciple and the pride of Universe 11. Belmod feared that if Jiren went and accidentally offended Kaito, Kaito might erase him on the spot.
But today, Jiren was unusually resolute. He ignored Belmod, his black eyes fixed solely on Marcarita.
Marcarita's expression remained calm as she asked quietly,
"Why? Give me a reason."
Jiren clenched his fists.
"I heard this Dragon God-sama defeated two Gods of Destruction even before he became a god… and even defeated you, Lady Marcarita. I want to witness his power for myself!"
"So you intend to challenge him? Aren't you afraid he may ignore you entirely and simply erase you on the spot with divine power?"
"I'm not afraid! My training has reached a bottleneck. I seek strength beyond my limits. Only battle can help me break through!"
Belmod interjected,
"Are me and Marcarita not strong enough opponents for you?"
"With all due respect, Belmod-sama, you can no longer defeat me without divine power. And although Lady Marcarita is stronger than I am, her strength is still within a realm I can grasp. What I wish to see… is power from another plane entirely!"
