Before I knew it, a month had come and gone while I trained under Master Roshi. At first, I just wanted to get the Pump Up form down, which I quickly renamed the Ultra form because it sounded cool, and also learn both the Sleepy Boy hypnosis technique and Thunder Shock Surprise.

Then, before I knew it, I was grabbing my minions and coming back. There was so much more room to spar over the ocean, and the atmosphere was so much more relaxing. Plus, there were way bigger fish to find and hunt in the ocean when I got hungry.

From there, I learned about pressure points from my old master, something Goku didn't have the intelligence to understand once upon a time when the old pervert had tried to teach him back then. Even more surprisingly, I learned Telepathy. The man whose memories I'd gained didn't know how Goku had gotten it in canon, and he had certainly learned it long after I had been created as his training partner. So, it was very surprising for the old man to know it as well and teach it to me.

It was a month well spent. I could have pursued a few other avenues that would have let me get stronger quicker after learning the techniques I wanted, but I found the atmosphere around Kame House as I trained to be almost tranquil, despite the constant violence I was embroiled in.

If anything, the month spent training under the turtle hermit was relaxing and let the massive burden that had been hanging over my shoulders slip off.

"You sure are somethin'," Roshi commented, looking up from his porno magazine as I dropped from the air, landing on the grass of his small island. My two Saibamen minions, my sparring partners, collapsed to the ground, sprawled and panting like dogs trying to catch their breath. I'd been a little hard on the pair of them. "Both of them are stronger than that long-haired brother of yours that started this mess, and you handled them like a tiger with a pair of house cats."

I smirked with pride. My power had exploded in the last month. I'm not sure exactly how strong I've gotten—I'll need my scouter to measure—but I'm at least nearly three times as strong as the me that arrived on this island last month, and that isn't even including the Ultra form, which increased my power by half again. I can definitely handle Nappa as I am now.

"The benefit of being a Saiyan, Master Roshi," I replied with a shrug. "Our bodies are made to adapt and grow stronger. It's more pronounced when we come back from near death, but it helps a lot with training as well."

"So you're just a bunch of filthy cheaters, then?" the old man grinned before shaking his head. "...So now what? Compared to what you were like when you first showed up here, looking to learn some moves, you're much calmer, got your head on much straighter."

I sighed, shrugging my shoulders. "I've come to terms with everything, but honestly, there's still so much I can do from here on to get stronger." At the very least, I don't have to be here on this planet for now. I can head somewhere else if I really want. And I remembered over the past month that the Namekian Dragon Balls actually recharge every six months instead of every year, so that's a thing. "I'm leaving Ichiji and Niji here though, just in case I get held up. They'll be a big help defending the planet, and you can teach them better than I ever could," I continued, nodding at the two recovering Saibamen.

If I head to Namek before any of the hassle begins, I can take care of a few things. It might overall be a bit of a loss in power for me going early, but there is one thing I can wish for that will make my future transformations, especially Super Saiyan Three, much easier to use.

Roshi groaned. "Ughhh, why?" he whined, putting his magazine down to glare at me. "I already have the damn pig ruining my chances with the ladies, now you're gonna stick me with the cabbage heads?"

"I don't see what you're complaining about. Isn't Launch always staying here?" I smirked again. "She's like one of the hottest girls you'll ever see, and it's not like the bullets blondie fires at you will actually hurt you."

Roshi huffed, tossing down his magazine and pouting. "Nope, blondie ran off to try and get hitched with Tien." He tilted his sunglasses down just to show me how he rolled his eyes. "We saw how well that worked out, huh? I can sense him up on the Lookout, but not a whiff of her."

I blinked. Oh yeah, I'd forgotten about that. Launch just disappeared during the lead-up to the Saiyan Saga, didn't she? I only ever saw her again for a brief moment in the Buu Saga, I think.

That's definitely something I'll need to look into.

"Either way, I might be going off-planet for a bit, so just keep those two training, okay?" I said, nodding my head towards the pair again. "As long as they learn some more from you and keep training together, they should be strong enough to hold off the Saiyans that are coming themselves and keep everyone safe."

"Fine, fine, you little brat," Roshi waved me off. "But I better get to see some boob out of this! I thought I was done training idiots when those five idiots flew the coop."

"I'll get you some nice porn as a thank you." I laughed before bidding him goodbye and taking off into the air.

First things first, I'll need to grab my scouter from Bulma before I decide what to do. Hopefully, she's done with what I asked of her already.
