Chapter 4 - CHAPTER 4

"Mommy I wanna have a twin like Lon and Daiwen!" Betty cried as she hugged Homura's leg tightly, having been begging her mom for another sibling for weeks now. The constant begging and whining alone for a sibling made Lon feel bad for constantly pushing her away. Homura, on the other hand, had already been stressing out about whenever Betty had asked her for another sibling. it wasn't like she could just magically give Betty a twin after all.

"Betty, how about mommy becomes your twin instead?" Homura suggests, hoping it would satisfy Betty's demands. Yet, it didn't seem to satisfy the child one bit. Instead, Betty would continue to cry and beg even more before eventually coming to a sudden stop.

"I know! I'll host a tea party and find a twin there!" Betty beamed with excitement at the idea, her eyes practically lighting up. Before her mom could ever say another word, Betty would make a beeline straight to her room and disappear out of sight. Well, at least that problem had been solved… sort of.

The next day, Betty begged Homura to go into town square with her to find some decorations for this supposed tea party. As she picked out tea cups and all kinds of decorations she'd want to have at her party, Homura's eyes would land upon a familiar man a couple feet away from them. He looked oddly similar to Luo which was more frightening than comforting. As much as she loved him, she just wasn't ready to face him. Not yet anyways.

So she'd pick up Betty and run out the store immediately without the items. But to her unfortunate luck, the man had already noticed. Already finding the sight of a woman running away, he'd walk up to someone who just so happened to see the scene.

"That little girl with the black hair…who is she?" He'd question, scratching the top of his head. The stranger would give a friendly smile in response as they'd turn to look at him.

"Oh, her? That's the town's savior, Betty. She holds the divine power which saved this town! Gosh, Homura is so lucky to have such a child like her! I wish I had a kid as awesome as her!" Luo's eyes widened at the mention of that familiar name… that beautiful, stunning, gorgeous name… Homura. Homura as in the woman who had left him without a word? The woman who had shattered his heart and left him to pick up the broken pieces? The woman he deemed to have been the love of his life?

Luo begs the stranger if he knows where he could find them. Sure, it was extremely creepy on his half to be asking where a child of all things lived, but Luo knew they wouldn't understand his situation.

After the stranger hesitantly explained where she lived, he gave them a thanks before immediately heading out to find his love once again.
