Silas and Seraphina's eyes opened wide, showing emotions of something between shock, sadness, regret, and… pity?
Honestly, I didn't want any family drama. Thus, I decided to be clear with them.
They knew that I killed someone, so why would I hesitate at this point? It was better to end everything quickly.
Of course, there was a problem… I was in Elyndra, which meant they now knew that whoever I killed was from this island as well.
In other words, they were probably thinking about the identity of who I killed. Were they Exalted? Cultivators? Normal people? Were they even students?
In addition to that, they might think about how I, a mere Tier-3 Exalted, killed someone without anyone knowing.
However, I wasn't planning to reveal more than that. I forced a smile again as Glutton appeared at his waffle plate and said: "Please don't ask for more than that and start eating. You can think about that later."
