Chapter 74 - Chapter 74

However, there was another possibility: Ancient One, the Sorcerer Supreme, took action when Kurohane was unaware. As Earth's new Sorcerer Supreme, Ancient One must have already greeted Odin, the Ruler of the Nine Realms. Otherwise, given Kurohane's personality, Ancient One felt that sooner or later he would battle Odin. At that time, Kurohane feared neither side would benefit, so she wanted to pave the way for Kurohane. While he wasn't yet the Sorcerer Supreme, she allowed him to visit Asgard. To become an ambassador of goodwill between Earth and Asgard, so everyone could live in peace and prosperity!

As for whether Ancient One actually thought this way, Kurohane didn't know. He would ask Ancient One later. Ancient One would be very busy soon. There was Sylvie, the female Loki from another world. There were the Avengers who came from a future timeline to steal the Infinity Stones, and there was Kurohane's own trip to Asgard. These issues were too big, and Kurohane was currently unable to handle them. Ancient One, this powerful figure, still had to make decisions.

But what if I made the decisions? Not one of the Infinity Stones would be taken! They would also have to surrender the secrets of time travel or world travel!

"So, now I'm your honored guest in Asgard, right?"

Kurohane looked at Thor who was covering his wound, and increased the speed of the Holy Energy injection. Thor only felt capable again, and his whole body felt warm, as if recharged.

"Of course, besides catching Loki this time, the most important thing is to find someone with the Holy Scar. If I hadn't found you, I would have asked Coulson for help." Thor replied, a faint smile on his face.

"Alright then, go deal with those big fish flying in the sky." Kurohane patted Thor's shoulder, his tone relaxed yet full of authority. "I'll go catch Loki. You must not interfere, otherwise, I'm afraid your kidneys won't be saved again!"

As soon as that sentence was finished, a pair of gleaming white wings sprouted from Kurohane's back. If it weren't for his black eyes and black hair, his appearance would be exactly like an Angel from the Bible. The shimmering wings flapped behind him, lifting Kurohane's body into the air. With a flash of white light, his whole body shot towards the building where Loki had fallen.

Thor: "What?"

An Angel?! So the one granted the Holy Scar by the Holy Dimension was an Angel who had descended to the human world?! No wonder Father wanted to invite Kurohane back to Asgard!

Odin's current situation was very serious. He often fell asleep and lost consciousness. Simply put, it was because he was old and his body wasn't as strong as before. But the older he got, the more energy accumulated in his body. Controlling this energy was also a heavy burden for Odin currently. So he could only fall into a deep sleep to slow down his body's aging and energy accumulation.

As for the wings behind Kurohane, simply put, they were materialized energy from the Holy Scar. They weren't just for show, but they also didn't have a physical body. They were just another way to use Holy Energy. Because the energy within the Holy Scar completely belonged to Kurohane, no matter how he used it, even if he exhausted all the energy in the Holy Scar at once, there would be no side effects or mental repercussions.

Moreover, this energy was extremely obedient and could be shaped into any form he desired. When Kurohane was reading in the library, he often used this energy to create some common weapons. According to Ancient One, these energy weapons were already better than most magical artifacts in Kamar-Taj.

As for why they transformed into two pairs of wings, Kurohane also had his own considerations. People who frequently travel across dimensions, especially those who often travel to Western worlds, know that if you wear a black robe with a hood over your face, people will definitely think you're not a good person! But if you have a sacred aura and two pairs of pure white, glowing wings behind you, appearing before others symbolizes the truth of faith!

The United States was currently a gathering place for major religions. When an Angel appeared before the people of the United States, would they choose to believe a flying Angel, or politicians who spoke nonsense? So no matter what Kurohane's previous identity was, as long as the glowing white wings appeared behind him, his identity was only one, an Angel who came to save the world! Sometimes, covering things up was that simple. Of course, sometimes just having wings wasn't useful, after all, other people weren't stupid. Kurohane's path as a divine staff still needed miracles!

Kurohane flew into the building and saw the famous scene again. Hulk, this gigantic green man, came from who-knew-where, grabbed Loki by the leg and slammed him into the ground several times. The concrete floor shattered, creating a human-shaped hole in the floor. Loki lay comfortably within it, his face full of despair and defeat.

Today had also been a long day for Loki. He had finally completed a not-so-successful plan. Hawkeye's attack on the Helicarrier was very successful, and he even got away with the back of his head. But the way he was freed turned out to be different from what he imagined, he just fell straight from the sky. If the Frost Giants weren't a race originally skilled in close combat, and if the cell hadn't fallen into the sea, perhaps he would have died right then, without even a struggle.

After his cell was destroyed, Loki found that a portal had opened in downtown New York. Then he could only muster all his strength to swim towards the coastline. Just after reaching land, his cheap brother arrived in front of him with a flashy hammer. Then he brought him from the coast to the roof of a building. Perhaps out of habit, or perhaps due to a plan, Thor liked to talk to his brother from a high place, and then after a few words, he would put on the expression of a prodigal son returning. Thor, the foolish brother, was naturally fooled. As he was feeling joyful, Loki pulled out a dagger and violently attacked his kidney!

As for what happened next, everyone knew. In short, he was now feeling pretty good just lying there!

Hulk glanced at Kurohane, who had two extra wings on his back, and with a roar, turned and ran. He jumped down from the roof and directly knocked down a large number of Chitauri soldiers below.

Kurohane: (puzzled).

Telepathy was still useful. Maybe if I worked harder, Dr. Banner would be able to control his body in Hulk mode. This was like training his mental strength.

He slowly walked in front of Loki. Loki looked at Kurohane, who appeared like a freshly descended Angel, he closed his eyes in surrender. He knew he had lost and was too lazy to fight anymore!

Kurohane dug Loki out of the hole and tossed him next to the Ancient One like trash. He immediately closed the portal, giving Ancient One no time to react. It was only natural for the adults at home to help their children handle war spoils!

Just then, Tony's anxious voice came over the radio, his voice slightly broken. "Kurohane, there's a nuclear bomb heading this way. It's going to explode in two and a half minutes! I'm taking this nuclear bomb into the wormhole. If I don't come back..."

"Bah, bah, bah, shut up quickly." Kurohane cut him off decisively, his tone leaving no room for doubt. "With me here, you won't die that easily! Quickly turn on the camera on your armor. 'Angel' Kurohane is about to dispense justice!"
