Back at the New York Sanctum, Kurohane dropped the troublesome Stephen Strange directly onto the ground. He hadn't yet met his main scriptwriter and director, The Ancient One. But he could feel her presence. The Ancient One was in the Sanctum!
When Kurohane met The Ancient One, a black-haired sorcerer was standing beside her. It was Baron Mordo, The Ancient One's senior disciple. Mordo hadn't betrayed her yet, but the dark energy in him was not as dense as The Ancient One's next to him.
"You're back, Kurohane." The Ancient One sighed. She had originally planned to give the Sorcerer Supreme's robe to Strange while Kurohane was gone. But now that Kurohane had returned, she could no longer give up that robe.
Kurohane wasted no time. He activated the Mind Stone and the Phoenix Force, and twisted Mordo's mind until he became an idiot. Mordo fell next to Strange, for the sake of peace.
"Teacher, just tell me what I need to do," Kurohane said. "Do you want to fake your death and run away, or just run away? Both are fine." Kurohane was too lazy to think. He just needed to follow the director's instructions.
The Ancient One shook her head. She felt a terrifying pressure from Kurohane. They had only been apart for a few days, but Kurohane already had the aura of a Dimension King. And it was the aura of the Holy Dimension. If she hadn't witnessed Kurohane's growth, she would have thought Kurohane was an avatar of the Vishanti.
"We've only been apart for a few days, how did you become so powerful?"
"It's complicated and sounds silly, so I won't explain it," Kurohane replied flatly. He didn't want to explain the Phoenix Force, because it would involve his system.
The Ancient One sighed. "The child has grown up and is rebellious. And I might not even be able to defeat him anymore!"
"By the way, I'm now on par with Dormammu," Kurohane said. "If you want, I can kill him right now." Kurohane took off the Infinity Gauntlet and showed the cross-shaped Holy Scar on his hand. He showed that he also had the entire Holy Dimension behind him. Two against one, he would win.
"In that case, destroy Dormammu," said The Ancient One, a thin grin appearing on her face. "When the Dark Dimension disappears, I will also die because I have no dark energy. It's perfect for you to take over the position of Sorcerer Supreme!" The Ancient One still felt her judgment was very good. She could only contain Dormammu, but couldn't kill him. Kurohane said he could.
"If you're going to talk like that, I have another script for you!" Kurohane looked at The Ancient One seriously. He was thinking of a good way for both of them to escape.
Inside the Dimension Mirror, Kaecilius, without a Sling Ring, was trying to contact Dormammu for the four hundred and eighty-seventh time. He was sure Dormammu had received his message, but there was no reply.
"God! Have you also abandoned your most devout follower?!" Kaecilius knelt outside the Sanctum's gate. Suddenly, a figure descended from the sky.
Stephen Strange, wearing a red Cloak of Levitation, landed on the ground. His legs gave out and he fell to his knees. He screamed in terror when he saw Kaecilius. "Don't come near me!"
He turned and ran, trying to open a portal with his Sling Ring. But Kaecilius was much faster, constantly twisting space. He blocked Strange's escape, trying to pull the portal towards him. Strange was forced to close the portal.
The two of them chased each other in the Dimension Mirror, moving away from the New York Sanctum.
The Ancient One and Kurohane stood on a tall rooftop, watching Strange's pathetic escape. They had no intention of helping.
"Are you sure he can escape from Kaecilius?" The Ancient One looked at Kurohane's serious face. "Something's wrong. According to the original script, I should be intervening now."
"A calm sea will not create a skilled sailor," Kurohane replied. "If he can survive Kaecilius, he will become Sorcerer Supreme. His talent is great, much better than mine!" Kurohane looked at Strange with envy. Strange could use everything, while Kurohane could only use the power of the Holy Dimension.
"And again, according to the original script, Kaecilius successfully 'killed' you. He's a tough enough opponent." The Ancient One was silent for a moment, then smiled helplessly. She felt her way of "leaving" was too rushed. Fortunately, Strange's deductive abilities weren't that good. He probably would have discovered the lie much earlier.
"In this world, the person most suited to hold the Time Stone is him."
"Don't you feel guilty saying that?" The Ancient One looked at the Power, Mind, and Reality Stones in Kurohane's hands. She advised Kurohane, "There are too many Infinity Stones on Earth. This will bring disaster. If you can, you should hide them somewhere in the universe."
"You want to dig a hole for me too?" Kurohane was surprised. Without the Mind Stone, he couldn't activate his abilities. Now The Ancient One was telling him to hide the Infinity Stones? What kind of joke was this!
The Ancient One was not surprised. Kurohane might have already become a Dimension King, but when it came to future events, he wasn't as smart as The Ancient One. Kurohane only saw a few possible futures, but the possibilities were limitless.
"Look, look!" Kurohane exclaimed. "Kaecilius is running away!"
