Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: The Silent Hunter Approaches

[EXT. RUINED WORLD – BLACK TEMPLE – NIGHT]

The air reeked of ash and old blood.

Within the broken temple, the Second Commander, Veydrin, stood in silence,

glaring at the mangled remains of the demon who had been sent to test the children of the gods.

The body was twisted and blackened, soaked in divine light.

Six fatal wounds crossed its frame — each one enough to kill on its own.

Together... they had erased him from existence.

---

> Veydrin (muttering):

"Six killable strikes..."

He knelt beside the corpse, examining the way the flesh had crumbled under divine impact.

> Veydrin (growling):

"Even one of these would've killed him...

but they struck together —

six times... in perfect harmony."

The demon hadn't just been defeated.

It had been overwhelmed — undone —

before it had a chance to react.

---

Footsteps echoed.

Zyren approached from the shadows, his crimson eyes glowing faintly.

> Zyren (coldly):

"So... they're unstoppable together."

> Veydrin (bowing his head):

"Yes, my lord.

When united... they are more than the sum of their bloodlines."

---

A moment of silence.

Then Zyren smiled.

> Zyren:

"Then we will not face them as one."

His voice was low, calculated.

> Zyren (turning to Veydrin):

"We'll break them...

one by one."

---

He raised a hand, and from the far corner of the temple,

a towering figure stepped forward — hunched, snarling, its eyes gleaming with feral hunger.

A monster clad in rusted armor,

its claws sharp enough to split steel.

The Goblin Commander.

Not a mindless brute —

but a predator, trained to hunt.

Silent. Ruthless. Precise.

---

> Zyren (grinning):

"Goblin Commander, go.

Kill even one of them...

and I will grant you your own legion."

The Goblin Commander hissed in delight, then vanished into the swirling shadows.

The hunt had begun.

[EXT. SCHOOL OF LIGHT – TRAINING YARD – NEXT DAY]

The sky above the School of Light was clear,

but an odd weight hung in the air — like something unseen watching.

Lyrion stood in the training yard,

his movements a blur as he sparred effortlessly against three instructors at once.

Blades clashed.

Magic danced.

Lyrion weaved through every strike like wind through leaves —

his first seal broken, his normal skills fully awakened.

Even without divine power,

he was a prodigy among prodigies.

---

Nearby, Veloria watched him closely.

She could still see the faint golden shimmer

around his hand where the anklet had once glowed for her alone.

---

> Veloria (smiling softly):

"You're really changing..."

---

Kairo and Syleria sparred beside them,

their friendly rivalry sharpened into effortless teamwork.

Sylion and Aria sat quietly, crafting small enchanted flowers that pulsed with soft light.

Auron and Cyra, though recovering, trained together,

matching each other's pace with fierce determination.

---

They were growing.

Learning.

Strengthening their bonds.

---

But far beyond the walls of their sanctuary...

something terrible stirred.

---

[EXT. FORESTS NEAR THE SCHOOL – DUSK]

The trees whispered nervously in the breeze.

A dark figure slipped between trunks,

moving with silent, predatory grace.

The Goblin Commander —

a nightmare in iron and shadows.

He crouched atop a rocky ridge,

gazing down at the sprawling grounds of the School of Light.

Below, the divine children laughed and trained, unaware of the doom creeping closer.

---

> Goblin Commander (grinning viciously):

"One of you... will bleed."

His claws gleamed under the fading sun.

And the night deepened.
