"Whether you can find a wife or not is none of our concern. If you agree, sign the papers. If not, be prepared for the creditors to come knocking," Henry said, his words dripping with threat. Hearing this, Autumn Walker immediately panicked.

"We agree, we'll sign right away."

"No, you can't sign!" Patriot Byrne pulled Autumn back. "We haven't secured the house yet; we can't just sign."

"Folks, this isn't the time to bargain. If I were you, I'd sign the agreement immediately and stop bothering our lady," Martin Riley said, his tone firm.

"Son-in-law, we can still discuss this. After all, we're Sylvia's parents. You should consider her feelings and not be too harsh," Patriot pleaded, trying to warm up to Martin. But when he met Martin's cold gaze, he involuntarily stepped back in fear.

"I'm only sparing you because of her," Martin scoffed. "Take the money and leave. Don't bother my wife again, or I'll make sure your precious son suffers."

The couple eventually left, defeated.
