Crystal Foster didn't keep anything from Martin Riley. As soon as she got home, she laid everything out for him.
"Godfather thinks that the senior must have some powerful backing. Given my current special status, he advised me to avoid contact with him. I feel the same way."
However, Otto had a good relationship with Kenneth Mitchell, and after the kidnapping incident, Otto seemed to have matured overnight. He became more reserved, only appearing carefree when with Kenneth. Cutting off her connection with Philip Allen seemed nearly impossible.
Martin understood Crystal's dilemma and gently patted her shoulder.
"It's okay. Otto and Kenneth Mitchell have their own matters. If anything else happens at school, I'll handle it."
So far, they had only managed to gather basic information about Philip Allen. But as Matthew Hart had suspected, Philip Allen had powerful connections. And since they were overseas, his influence couldn't reach them just yet.
