"Honey, please don't be mad. I know I was wrong. I shouldn't have kept things from you," Martin Riley pleaded, seeing Crystal Foster's frown. He hurriedly moved closer to apologize, inadvertently making Marvin Mitchell feel like a third wheel.

"Can you two lovebirds spare a thought for this single guy here and stop being so lovey-dovey? The main thing right now is figuring out how to solve this problem," Marvin sighed, turning to Crystal. "I've dug up some info on Philip Allen, but it's not much. He was your senior back in school, so you probably know more about him than we do."

Crystal shook her head, looking conflicted. "Honestly, I don't know much about Philip Allen."

Back then, Philip seemed gentle, but there was always a barrier between him and everyone else. Many speculated about his family background, but none of the guesses were ever confirmed. Now, it seemed Philip's background was far from simple.
