Chapter 264 - Catch my breath

Philip Allen stared intently at the pastries, his mind swirling with thoughts. Even if Sylvia Byrne could replicate the taste of Crystal Foster's pastries, how could she possibly make them identical, down to the smallest details?

As he looked at the pastry, his eyes suddenly welled up with tears. During his time studying abroad, Crystal had once sent him pastries. She made lotus pastries. Though the method was the same as others, Crystal's pastries had a unique touch—green and yellow decorations in the center. The other lab colleagues had teased Crystal about it, but she insisted she liked the color combination.

After they parted ways, Philip had tried many lotus pastries, but none matched Crystal's. Yet now, Sylvia's pastries were exactly the same as Crystal's. How could this be? Even if it was imitation, it couldn't be so precise, especially with such tiny differences.
