Prologue

In the heart of a small, forgotten village nestled between vast, barren plains, there lived a boy named Arjun Yadav. Born to humble farmers, Arjun's early years were marked by simple joys and burdens. The sun-drenched days were spent tending to the family's meager crops, while the cool nights were filled with the laughter of his younger sister, Priya, and the warmth of their modest home. They had little, but the love of their family and the peace of their quiet life were enough.

Arjun's father, a stoic and resilient man, had always taught him the value of hard work and perseverance. "No matter how small your beginnings," his father would say, "it is the effort you put in that builds your future." His mother, gentle and kind, often whispered prayers to the stars, hoping for a better life for her children—though she never once complained about their circumstances.

Arjun's life, though simple, was full of love and stability. Yet, as the years passed, Arjun's yearning for something greater began to stir within him. He dreamt of a world beyond the fields—of power, of a place where he could protect not just his family, but everyone he loved. His world, as small as it was, felt like it could only offer so much.

It wasn't long before fate knocked at his door.

One fateful evening, as Arjun returned home from the fields, a sudden, blinding flash of light engulfed the sky. He stood frozen, his heart racing as the very air seemed to crackle with energy. A voice, deep and commanding, echoed through his mind, its power vibrating through his soul.

"Arjun Yadav, you have been chosen."

Before he could even comprehend the meaning of those words, the earth beneath him trembled violently. In the blink of an eye, the world he knew vanished. The fields, the village, his home—everything was gone. Instead, he stood in a barren land, a place where the sky stretched endlessly, and the air was thick with the scent of desolation.

"You are now a Lord Candidate," the voice boomed again, this time not just in his mind but reverberating through the very fabric of reality. "You have been granted the unique ability of the 1000x Multiplier. Every resource you invest—be it soldiers, knowledge, or materials—will yield tenfold returns. With this power, you will build your kingdom, defend your people, and rise to greatness."

Confusion filled Arjun's heart. The simple life he had known was gone, replaced by a destiny he couldn't understand. But in that moment, as the wind swept through the desolate landscape, a flicker of something deep within him stirred—a desire to rise, to become more than the humble farmer's son. Arjun had no choice but to accept the path fate had set before him.

Beside him stood his sister, Priya. Unchanged by the sudden shift in reality, she clutched a small, ornate egg in her hands. "My power," she whispered, her voice trembling. "It's... different. I don't know what it means, Arjun."

Priya's ability, unlike any other, was tied to the Beast Egg Random—an unpredictable skill that would summon beasts with mysterious powers. She was a key part of his journey, though Arjun had yet to understand the full extent of her potential.

With no time to mourn the life he had lost, Arjun stepped forward into this strange new world. The barren land stretched endlessly before him, a world awaiting his command. The System had chosen him, and he knew now that he had no choice but to embrace it.

His first step was clear: survival.

As Arjun looked down at his sister, who had always been his pillar of strength, he made a silent vow. No matter the cost, no matter the challenges, he would rise. He would build a kingdom from nothing and protect what was left of his family. He would rise from the dust of his humble beginnings and claim a future worthy of his power.

And so, the journey of Arjun Yadav, Lord Candidate, began.
