Ethan hadn't calmed down.
His eyes burned brighter than ever. His breathing was rough, almost inhuman. Every second he stared at Lily and Aunt Mei,both unconscious, bloodied, lying like broken dolls on the floor,something darker inside him kept rising.
His left hand started to glow black like a void had formed inside his palm.
His right hand lit up in a brilliant golden aura, radiating divine, violent energy.
Two forces. Light and darkness. Rage and justice.
Balanced in one man.
And all of it aimed at Axel and Lucien, who were coughing and crawling in the rubble like dying worms.
Axel tried to speak.
"Ethan… we—we didn't mean—"
BOOM!
Ethan's foot smashed into his face, cracking his skull against the floor. Blood sprayed out as teeth scattered like pebbles.
Lucien trembled. "W-Wait! W-We can explain!"
