Chapter 14 - Chapter 14: The Queen’s Final Stage—When the Devil Kneels

Three years later.

The Lin Global World Summit had become the most anticipated event of the decade, a place where history was written, and legacies were sealed.

And this year, it wasn't just the business titans and political elites gathered in the towering Crystal Dome of Empire City—it was the entire world, eyes glued to their screens, waiting to witness the rise of the woman who had rewritten the rules of power.

Ella Lin.

She appeared on the grand stage not just as the most powerful woman on the planet—but as a mother, a legend, and an untouchable queen.

By her side, two tiny figures stole the hearts of billions—her twin sons, dressed immaculately in miniature suits, each wearing a silver pendant shining proudly under the lights.

The same pendant Leon Xu once tried to use to control her.

Now?

A symbol of her victory.

The crowd erupted into thunderous applause as she stepped forward, her heels clicking against the crystal stage like the final beat of an execution drum.

"Today, I stand before you not as someone's daughter, not as someone's discarded lover, but as the woman who took back everything that was stolen from her!"

The applause swelled, echoed by millions watching live across the globe.

But then…

A disturbance rippled through the sea of people at the back of the auditorium.

Gasps. Whispers. Cameras swung wildly toward the entrance.

And there he was.

Leon Xu.

The man who once knelt in the rain, who once ruled the world with his bare hands… now reduced to a shadow of his former self.

His expensive suits were long gone, replaced by a simple worn coat. His once sharp eyes now dull and hollow.

But his steps…

Still desperate.

Still chasing the woman he could never forget.

He stumbled toward the stage, guards hesitating as Ella lifted a hand to stop them.

Leon fell to his knees before her, his head bowed so low his forehead pressed against the cold marble.

"Ella..." His voice cracked painfully through the microphone. "I'm nothing now… nothing without you. I have no empire, no future… but I'm still begging. For just one more chance. Let me at least… die knowing you forgave me."

The crowd held its breath.

Reporters frantically snapped photos, news feeds flooded with the live spectacle.

Ella stared down at him, her heart a battlefield of scars and silent wars.

Her sons stood at her sides, their tiny hands clutching at her fingers.

"Mommy, is that the bad man who made you cry?" one of them asked softly, his innocent voice carrying through the speakers.

Ella's eyes burned.

She knelt down, lifting her sons into her arms, her voice clear and sharp as a blade.

"No, baby," she whispered into the microphone. "That's not a bad man anymore. That's just a man who lost everything… including his soul."

Leon's shoulders shook violently as sobs tore through his body.

"Ella… please…"

She stood tall once more, her children in her arms like living proof of her victory.

"Leon Xu, you once said I would never belong in your world," she declared, her voice resonating through the entire globe.

"But look around you now—"

"It's you who no longer belongs in mine."

She turned and walked away under the blinding lights, the world erupting in cheers as the once-untouchable king lay broken behind her.
