Chapter 91 - Chapter 92: Changes for Good and Bad

As the elves came out of the cage, everything went haywire.

They flew around like rockets. Two elves flew to Neville from the left and right, grabbed his ears and were about to pull him off the spot - his ears were artificially stretched to the limit, and he screamed in pain.

Damon drew out his wand, ready to solve this farce, and Lockhart held him down from behind:

"Aha, don't rush to take action, Master White, believe in the wisdom of the children - you won't blame me for missing such an opportunity to show off, right?"

He thought he was graceful and winked at Damon, showing his signature grin.

"By the way, I am your teacher now, so let the outside world call you that. Do you mind if I call you Damon in school from now on?"

Lockhart remained a little reserved towards this "master" who had become famous but was extremely low-key.

"As you wish." Damon was interrupted by Lockhart and simply stopped, looking at him with a half-smile, "But professor, are you sure you want to make the situation worse?"

Neville was about to be caught off the ground at this time, and the other elves were wreaking havoc in the classroom - they grabbed the ink bottle and splashed it on the whole class, tore books and papers into pieces, tore down the pictures on the wall, turned the waste bin upside down, and threw school bags and textbooks out of the broken window.

The little wizards were defeated, and half of them hid under the table.

Harry and Ron glared at the approaching elves, but the spell they recited was "Disarmament", although the response was not good, but at least the elves attacking them were knocked back to the wall.

"Well, their performance really disappoints me, they don't have the courage and wisdom described in my book at all, it seems - I should stop this."

Lockhart rolled up his sleeves, waved his wand, and shouted:

"Pesky Pixie Pestomy!"

 Nothing happened.

His spell was completely ineffective. An elf grabbed Lockhart's wand and threw it out of the window.

Since the young wizards were busy with their own things, few people noticed this ridiculous scene.

Damon turned his head to look at Lockhart, who happened to be looking at him. When their eyes met, Damon tried his best to hold back his laughter. His face began to tremble, and his facial features became a little misaligned. Even his handsome face was almost stained with a vulgar aura.

"Ahaha~ I'm kidding you." Lockhart was still trying hard. "If I want to deal with these little guys, even without a wand, I have ten thousand ways to deal with them.

But then again, I think I've experienced enough scenes of being in the limelight. Maybe I should give students some stage occasionally. What do you think, Damon?"

"I think you have a point."

Damon sneered, and he couldn't hold it back.

"Great! Then what are you waiting for?"  Lockhart didn't care about Damon's impoliteness, he just hoped that the student would take action quickly so that he could cover up this mistake that shouldn't have happened.

Damon was calm and didn't make any moves - with his influence, the three little ones have changed.

Harry and Ron, who would have been frightened by the elves, have now begun to help others drive away the elves.

"Expelliarmus!"

 "Expelliarmus!"

The two still used this "incorrect" spell. Hermione had just locked up the two elves in front of her and reminded, "Freeze them with the Freezing Charm, it will be more effective."

"Thanks for the reminder, we will learn it later."

Ron took the time to reply to Hermione, and he and Harry continued to cast spells, knocking the elves to the ceiling or to the ground. The situation in the classroom became visibly controllable.

Hermione stayed where she was, looking at Ron's profile, and was absent-minded for a moment - when did he become so easy to talk to?

Seeing that the farce was about to end, Lockhart cleared his throat and was about to say something polite when the bell for the end of the get-out-of-class period rang.

A bunch of young wizards crawled out from under the table and ran out desperately, not caring about anything else.

In the end, only a few people were left in the field.

"Aha, very good, very well done. Although there were some twists and turns, you still completed my test very well."

 Lockhart did not put his

Arm around Harry's shoulders this time. He nodded to a few people and hurried away - he had to go find his own wand.

"I can't trust him anymore." Ron looked at the door that Lockhart didn't even have time to close. "Damon is right. We can't judge a person by appearance or rumors alone. Professor Lockhart is simply a..."

He wanted to say "idiot", but he didn't say it out loud because of Hermione's face.

"He just wanted to give us some opportunities to practice. It's those people who behaved so badly."

"Practice? Hermione, he doesn't know what he's doing."

"Nonsense, you've all read his books - think about the amazing things he's done, Damon, what do you think?"

"Me? - He's fine as long as he doesn't affect me."

Damon hugged Harry and Ron and praised them:

"Well done, you're much better than last semester, aren't you?"

The two of them grinned at Damon's affirmation, "Are you going to practice spells later? Can we join you?"

"Yes! I can't wait. Can you teach me the Freezing Spell?"

Damon was about to answer when a sudden cry sounded in the classroom.

Several people turned their heads to look - it was Neville, he seemed to be frightened and was crying at the table at this time - he was caught in the air by the elf and almost stuck on the chandelier. Fortunately, Harry and Ron helped him, but he also fell off the table.

The expressions of several people became subtle.

"Neville, don't cry, it's over." Hermione stepped forward to comfort him.

 "Thank you, Hermione."

Neville wiped his tears, rolled over clumsily from the table, and was about to leave.

The others looked at each other in surprise - after the incident of the blitz on Malfoy last semester, Neville had obviously become different, so why did he seem to be back to the same place now?

What happened during the summer vacation?

Damon frowned, and seeing that Neville was about to walk to the door, he said:

"Neville, do you want to come with us?"  Neville turned his head, his fat hands still wiping his face, "Can - can you, Damon? I'm so stupid, you can't teach me."

"It doesn't matter, teaching one person is the same as teaching three people, it's just a matter of convenience."

He called Neville, and they went to the Room of Requirement together.

Damon walked at the end, and his azure blue eyes suddenly glowed with a fluorescent light.

There were signs of residual magic from the Oblivion Spell on Neville's body.

Was it his grandmother who did it?
