Chapter 4 - THE MYSTERIOUS NURSERY

The days turned into weeks, and Sarah's due date drew closer. She and John had prepared the nursery, painting the walls a soft yellow and furnishing it with a crib, a changing table, and a rocking chair. But despite their efforts, Sarah couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that lingered in the room.

One day, while John was out running errands, Sarah decided to spend some time in the nursery, trying to calm her nerves and connect with her unborn baby. She sat down in the rocking chair, closing her eyes and focusing on the gentle motion of the chair.

As she rocked, she began to feel a strange sensation, like the room was shifting around her. She opened her eyes to find that the furniture seemed to be slightly rearranged, and the walls seemed to be a different shade of yellow. She rubbed her eyes, wondering if she was just seeing things, but when she looked again, the room seemed normal.

Sarah felt a shiver run down her spine. She tried to brush it off as her imagination playing tricks on her, but the feeling persisted. She started to wonder if the nursery was somehow...haunted.

As the days went by, Sarah noticed more strange occurrences in the nursery. Toys would move on their own, and she would hear faint whispers when no one was around. She started to feel like the nursery was a place of dark energy, and she didn't know how to protect herself or her baby from it.

John was skeptical when she tried to talk to him about it. "You're just stressed, honey," he said. "The nursery is fine. You're just being paranoid."

But Sarah knew what she felt, and she knew that something was off. She started to feel like she was losing her mind, and she didn't know how to stop it.

One night, as she was getting ready for bed, Sarah decided to do some research on the history of their house. She sat down at her computer and started to search for information about the previous owners and the neighborhood.

As she scrolled through the search results, she stumbled upon a strange article about a family that had lived in their house many years ago. The article mentioned that the family had experienced strange occurrences and had eventually moved out of the house due to paranormal activity.

Sarah's heart skipped a beat as she read the article. She felt like she had stumbled upon a dark secret, and she didn't know what to do with the information. She closed the laptop, feeling a sense of unease wash over her.

As she lay in bed that night, she couldn't shake off the feeling that the nursery was a place of dark energy, and that something was waiting for her baby. She felt a sense of fear that she had never experienced before, and she didn't know how to protect herself or her child.
