"Raise the stakes to what?" Kofi asked Rachel grumpily, with his voice echoing through the crowded arena.
Rachel smiled lightly and said, "I say we raise the stakes to a blank check... If you can defeat me, I'll issue you a blank cheque."
Kofi looked her up and down with a playful smirk, then he laughed and said, "You? That will be super easy."
Rachel's smile didn't waver; she stared at him intently and said, "Then it's settled."
The male announcer nearly dropped his microphone as soon as he heard that.
He glanced at Rachel's straight face and swallowed the saliva in his mouth then as his adam apple bubbled up and down, he cleared his throat and said, "Ladies and gentlemen… you are about to witness a fight between—"
He paused and turned to Rachel while saying,"What should I call you?"
Rachel's lips curved as she answered him, saying, "Chel... Call me Chel."
