"The Safest Place Was His Arms"
Seeing the fast-paced world of Ferrari World, both of them were extremely excited.
They were slowly walking around, looking at the different stalls, the shining cars, and the colorful lights, when Ramish asked,
"Richer, when are we going to take a ride?"
Richer replied playfully,
"Which ride?"
Ramish said seriously,
"The one the manager mentioned in the car."
Richer laughed mischievously and said,
"They were just saying that. There's no ride area here."
Ramish said,
"Richer, I heard people talking that there are amazing rides here, with incredible speed."
Richer smiled and said,
"Oh, so you're the one who heard that. I didn't hear anything."
Hearing this, sadness appeared on Ramish's face.
Richer immediately laughed and said,
"Hey, I was joking! Don't be sad. We're going there."
Ramish still kept a serious face, so Richer said with a smile,
"Come on, fix your mood."
When Ramish didn't respond, Richer tickled his stomach.
Ramish laughed and said,
"Richer! Don't do that!"
But Richer didn't stop, and when Ramish tried to catch him, Richer started running.
Richer ran ahead and Ramish chased after him.
Both of them forgot everything and got lost in their own little world.
Finally, Ramish caught Richer from behind while running, and as he spun him around, their laughter echoed through the fast air of Ferrari World.
People passing by smiled when they saw them.
Noticing the people, Ramish gently put Richer down,
and both of them, laughing and lowering their heads shyly, quickly entered the rides area.
Looking at a roller coaster, Ramish said,
"Richer! This ride looks amazing—just look at its speed!"
Richer replied,
"This is the Formula Rossa coaster. It's famous for its speed. Let's take this one first."
Ramish said excitedly,
"Alright!"
Both of them sat in the Formula Rossa coaster.
Richer extended his hand toward Ramish and said,
"Hold my hand. The speed is very high. You won't be scared… and if you feel nervous, don't hesitate to scream. It makes you feel better."
Ramish smiled and held Richer's hand.
The ride started slowly and then reached its top speed.
Ramish gripped Richer's hand tightly.
Both of their hearts were pounding fast,
and along with the fear of the speed, they were screaming and enjoying the moment to the fullest.
The ride twisted and turned, and finally came to a stop at the last point.
Their breathing was fast, but their faces were glowing with happiness—
as if fear and smiles had both won together.
Breathing heavily and smiling, when they came out, Ramish said,
"Richer, you looked so cute screaming like a child. You were even more scared than me!"
Richer replied playfully,
"I was only doing all that to give you courage. Otherwise, I wasn't scared at all."
Ramish smiled and said,
"Say that again while looking at me, then I'll believe you."
Richer laughed,
"Alright, alright, I admit it. Come on, let's go to the next ride."
Both of them smiling, walked toward the Turbo Track roller coaster.
Richer said enthusiastically,
"Come on, Ramish, let's go in!"
Looking at the tall roller coaster, Ramish said nervously,
"Richer, I'm really scared of heights rides."
Richer asked in surprise,
"How can you be afraid of heights?
A person who never felt scared while flying in the sky—
how can he be afraid of such a small height now?"
Ramish said with a smile,
May be you forget."Back then, I had wings to fly… and I had powers.
Now, I have nothing like that."
Richer laughed and said,
"So you were fearless because of those wings and powers."
Ramish slowly nodded and said,
"May be."
Richer Softly Smiled and said,
"It's nothing. I'm with you."
Ramish refused,
"No, I can't do this."
Richer gently extended his hand and said,
"Don't you trust me? Come with me, you'll enjoy it."
And today, observe the height without wings.
Ramish sat with Richer, still scared.
Richer smiled and said,
"You love rides, but you got scared on this one ride!"
Ramish stayed silent.
Seeing the worry on his face, Richer said softly,
"Ramish, if you get too scared, hold my hand tightly and close your eyes."
Ramish said quietly,
"Okay…"
As the roller coaster slowly started going up the Turbo Track tower, Richer immediately held Ramish's hand firmly.
When the car shot up, Ramish's face turned pale. He looked at Richer with frightened eyes.
Richer quickly said,
"Ramish, close your eyes! Nothing will happen. Scream, it will make you feel better."
As soon as the coaster came down, Ramish started screaming loudly.
Richer looked worried, but he held his hand even tighter and shouted,
"Ramish! Nothing will happen! Enjoy this moment, you won't get this chance again!"
But because of the speed, Ramish couldn't hear him clearly.
When the ride ended, Richer said,
"Ramish, open your eyes… the ride is over."
Ramish's body was trembling.
As soon as he opened his eyes and saw Richer in front of him, he immediately hugged him.
Richer smiled and said,
"See? You did it!"
And Ramish was clinging to Richer like a child,
as if at that moment, the safest place in the world for him was in Richer's arms.
Richer said gently,
"Ramish, everything is fine…"
He held him lovingly, brought him outside, made him sit on a chair, and went to get some water himself.
"Here, drink slowly."
Then he said worriedly,
"I had no idea you were so afraid of high rides."
Ramish replied with a faint smile,
"I did tell you I'm scared of heights… but I still went for you."
Richer said playfully,
"You weren't scared while loving me, you flew so high to come to me.
But now you got scared such a heights?"
Then he became a little serious and said,
"Love is even more dangerous than that height. Climbing that height is not easy—some people get tired, some panic and fall on their own… and some are pushed down."
Ramish looked at him deeply and said,
Richer love makes a person fearless, I have never been afraid of heights in love before.
"If love is the name of a height, then I will cross every height. I will walk through every path."
Richer smiled shyly at his words and said softly,
"So, shall we go for another ride or head back?"
Ramish replied immediately,
"No, let's go for another ride."
They sat on the Flying Aces roller coaster and enjoyed the ride to the fullest.
After taking several more rides, they slowly walked toward the exit.
Ramish said happily,
"Richer, today was really amazing!"
Richer said mischievously,
"If you want, we can take the Turbo Track Tower ride again."
Ramish laughed and said,
"You know how scared I am of that ride—that's why you're teasing me."
Richer laughed too,
"Alright, alright, I won't tease you anymore."
Then he said,
"If you want to buy something, do it now, otherwise let's go. It's been almost two and a half hours—we still have another place to visit."
Ramish said tiredly,
"With this much exhaustion, will we really be able to go out again?"
Richer smiled and said,
"If we gather a little courage, we'll manage."
Ramish smiled and said,
"Alright."
Both of them walked out of Ferrari World, slowly reached the car, and got in.
The car moved on toward a new journey—
where maybe there were no new rides,
but new moments were waiting for them.
And Ferrari World, with its rides, mischief, and shared moments,
was left behind… turning into memories.
