We can't let Hiruzen and his group relax and act recklessly. We need to keep them busy, forcing them to divert their attention away from targeting the Uchiha. That way, the Uchiha can have more peaceful time to grow and develop.
"No problem! Leave it to me!"
Uchiha Genqing patted his chest confidently.
"Alright, I'm off then!"
Uchiha Chiri nodded. "I'm almost done mapping Jaya Island. I should finish it today! After that, I'll head to Loguetown."
"It's a pity we haven't found a suitable flying summoning beast to reach Skypiea yet—we'll just have to wait a bit longer."
Otherwise, their financial stress would vanish instantly.
Although gold isn't directly usable as currency, it can easily be exchanged for legal tender at the Fire Capital's gold exchange.
"No rush, it's only a matter of time," Genqing replied.
"We might even find a powerful flying beast here in the One Piece world. Mom, keep an eye out while mapping."
"Good point!"
Uchiha Chiri's eyes lit up. "I'll watch for clues. I'm off—bye!"
With that, she teleported away.
A few hours later...
"Whew, so this is Jaya Island? What a chaotic place," Chiri muttered.
The moment she stepped onto Jaya, she felt countless prying and malicious stares from all directions.
"No wonder it's called Pirate Island."
"I'll scout around first, map out a safe landing spot for Genqing. With his strength, it's dangerous to land randomly."
Thinking this, Chiri didn't dock immediately but instead sailed her boat around the island's perimeter.
Some pirates on the island were surprised and hesitant to act, while others grew excited and began gathering.
With her newly awakened Observation Haki, Chiri could clearly perceive their movements. Her gaze turned cold.
"Fools asking for death."
Soon, she reached a beach on the northern side of the island, leaped ashore, and placed a hand on her boat.
With a thought, she stored it in her personal subspace within the Dimensional Gate—10,000 cubic meters of storage, a special area Genqing had granted her.
Uchiha Mikoto had the same access.
The Dimensional Gate's total space was massive—10 kilometers wide and over 10 kilometers tall—and would continue growing stronger with Genqing's power.
One day, it might even evolve into a complete world.
"Over there! She landed!"
"Haha, told you she couldn't resist! What a beauty—maybe we can sell her for a good price?"
"Sell her? Let's give her to the boss!"
...
From the woods came a group of pirates, running while shouting lewd comments.
Chiri frowned as she looked toward the noise. Seeing the pirates charge at her, she acted swiftly.
"Fire Style: Majestic Destroyer Flame!"
She quickly performed hand seals, leaned forward slightly, and exhaled a massive torrent of flames.
In an instant, over 100 meters ahead was engulfed in searing fire. Screams echoed briefly before falling silent.
When her chakra sensed no more life signs, she ceased output.
The flames died down, revealing scorched, glassed-over ground and dozens of charred corpses.
Satisfied, she used Body Flicker Technique to vanish from the spot.
Over the next ten minutes, Chiri explored most of Jaya Island.
To avoid unnecessary trouble, she transformed her appearance to move unnoticed and gather intel.
"Alright, that's enough for now. Time to head back."
After scouting some stores in the town but finding nothing of interest, she teleported away from a secluded corner.
Meanwhile, in the Senju Clan's compound in the Hidden Leaf Village...
"Grandma! You won't believe it—Uchiha Clan is undergoing huge changes!" Tsunade said excitedly.
"They're actually opening up the Police Force to outsiders and forming an elite squad... It's totally unlike the Uchihas I knew!"
"They've always treated the Police Force like a personal fiefdom, fiercely guarding their authority. What's gotten into them?"
"I've already heard," Mito nodded calmly. "Hiruzen came to tell me himself."
"Huh? Sensei?"
Tsunade blinked. "Why would he talk to you about this? Was he hoping you'd stop it?"
"Not exactly."
Mito shook her head. "This is a rare chance to infiltrate the Police Force. Of course Hiruzen wouldn't want to miss it."
"But he can't figure out the Uchihas' motives, so he asked me to meet with Uchiha Chiri to probe her intentions—especially since word is she's recovered her full strength."
"Hiruzen's worried."
Mito didn't mention Hiruzen's concerns about this move undermining the isolationist policies set by Tobirama.
She never agreed with those policies anyway.
Alienating the Uchiha would only push them further away and create future problems—possibly even disaster.
What surprised her was Chiri's recent rise. Mito was starting to consider a secret alliance.
After all, she wasn't afraid of dying—but she was deeply worried about Tsunade, Nawaki, Kushina, and the crumbling state of the Senju Clan.
She'd seen through Hiruzen's methods.
If she passed away, Hiruzen's group might tear the Senju to pieces.
