Seraphina leaned forward, her glare fixed on Stephanie as her words were piercing sharp. "So be prepared. If you don't return what's mine, I'll sue you. I'll make the whole world know who the real heir is, and who the thieves are." 

For the first time, Seraphina's voice was not full of pain or suffering quietly; instead, she was fighting for herself. She had been wronged for ages, to the point that she had taken a rebirth but was still in the same condition, and now she was declaring it to everyone: she wasn't going to forgive, she wasn't going to forget that she had suffered under them.

"Why are you being like this, Sera?" Melissa tried to speak, but Alistair's voice cut sharply through before Seraphina could answer.

"Don't you dare interrupt when my sister is talking!" His glare turned to Melissa, cold and furious. "You are no one to speak in the family matter. You've always been an outsider… and that's all you'll ever be."
