Ryuzaki's lips curved into a slow, dangerous smirk. "I won't kill him." His voice was almost playful, but there was something cold lurking underneath. "I will just store him in my shadow dimensions and keep him there forever."
The casual way he said it, like he was discussing the weather, made Xeari's blood run cold.
"Same difference, you mad fox!" Xeari's voice cracked as he shot forward in his coach, his composure completely shattered. "I clearly asked for him to be alive. It's not his fault to be trying to kill you – you should fight Kaelric!"
Ryuzaki studied Xeari's face for a long moment, his head tilting slightly. "Well, well, well." Ryuzaki's voice dropped to a whisper that seemed to fill the entire room. "I am curious – who is Orion to you?" His eyes narrowed, searching. "Don't tell me you got tangled in this."
