Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Mathematical Language

Morning class ended, and those who got whipped went to the medical room for treatment.

Chu Fei finished eating and returned to the classroom to first observe the Wisdom Tree Seed.

The seed showed no change, but the Wisdom Dew had grown again, now reaching 48%.

He glanced at the schedule, quickly reviewed related content to have a clear idea, then rested his head to nap for a while.

Breakfast was from 7:00 to 7:30, but the first class started at 8:00.

That half hour in between was free for sleeping.

After half an hour, the bell rang, and a tall, thin teacher walked in, placed the textbook on the podium, and smiled:

"I'm your math teacher, Gao Mingsong.

Everyone open your elementary math textbook. We'll start with linear equations. No problem, right?"

Chu Fei listened carefully, putting all his focus into the lesson.

Gao Mingsong explained math very well, speaking nonstop for over forty minutes without looking at the textbook once.

"All right, everyone review the textbook again later. If you don't understand or didn't catch something, be sure to ask.

It's okay not to understand, but if you pretend you do…"

Gao Mingsong glanced at the 'whip holder' beside the podium and continued, "You'll be punished."

Chu Fei flipped through the textbook and took notes in his new notebook.

The original textbook was not allowed to be scribbled on.

Chu Fei had already read through the teacher's explanations last night, but listening again gave him deeper understanding.

Focusing on the Wisdom Tree Seed, after just this 40-minute lesson, the Wisdom Dew had reached 77%!

Indeed, gaining knowledge isn't just from reading or self-study; listening to lectures is even more efficient.

Questions began to be asked, and the first class ended quickly.

There was a 15-minute break before the second class, which was also math.

Teacher Gao called names randomly for on-the-spot problem solving.

Those who couldn't answer triggered the 'whip holder' into action.

Students called on three times without answers were whipped three times, and the classroom atmosphere changed.

Chu Fei was called once but answered smoothly.

After another half hour of teaching and more questions, the second class ended at 11:30.

Teacher Gao tucked the textbook under his arm and left with flair. The homework was an integrated problem.

Those who got whipped hurried to the medical room for treatment.

After lunch, Chu Fei returned to his dorm and looked at the Wisdom Tree Seed, noticing it now had two drops of Wisdom Dew.

The first drop was crystal clear and shimmering.

The second drop had reached about 13%.

Staring at the dew for a while, Chu Fei smiled brightly.

But good steel should be used on the blade's edge—learning was progressing well now, so he'd save it for later.

The afternoon was physics class. The physics teacher also didn't look at the textbook and spoke at length for one class. The second class was self-study and roll call, followed by some simple experiments.

Before he knew it, it was 5:00 PM. The physics teacher left a simple homework assignment and left casually.

The day's classes ended. After dinner, Chu Fei rested his head on the desk but still focused on the Wisdom Tree Seed.

The seed looked even more crystal clear and full of life.

"Since it's a seed, will it sprout later? What does the Wisdom Tree look like? Will its roots grow into the brain..."

He then looked at the two drops of Wisdom Dew. The second drop had surprisingly reached 52%.

Great progress!

Evening was self-study time, supervised by Cao Liwen.

If you didn't understand something, you could ask Cao Liwen, who could usually answer any common questions.

By 9 PM, Cao Liwen collected everyone's homework and quickly reviewed it.

At that time, Chu Fei checked the Wisdom Dew, which had reached 65%. Self-study was indeed less efficient.

Well, lectures are teachers sharing knowledge they've deeply understood over many years.

Lost in thought, Cao Liwen finished grading.

Then the whip holder became busy again, the whip swinging.

Afterward, Cao Liwen called out: "Chu Fei, explain to these idiots."

Chu Fei was a bit stunned but quickly went to the podium to explain the math and physics homework.

During the explanation, Chu Fei found a pleasant surprise—"Giving roses leaves fragrance on the hand."

By organizing his own knowledge during the explanation, he gained new insights.

The second drop of Wisdom Dew shot up to 71% in one go!

This efficiency was almost equal to attending a lecture.

When Chu Fei finished, it was already 9:40 PM.

Those who were whipped went for treatment. Chu Fei returned to the dorm, washed up, and by 10 PM lights out.

In the night, Chu Fei's eyes shone brightly. After several deep breaths, he made a decision: use another drop of Wisdom Dew!

The purpose this time was clear:

1. Continue exploring the effects of Wisdom Dew;

2. Analyze the current situation and think about the future.

As the drop dissolved, Chu Fei's consciousness rose again. Massive amounts of information flashed, combined, and collided in his mind, generating new sparks of wisdom.

In this ultra-fast thinking, a single moment's thought exceeded what ordinary people could do in days or even over ten days.

Maybe it's true that a fool may have a lucky thought; the more you think, the more sparks fly.

Finally, when countless sparks connected, a clear realization rose in his heart:

What is the essence of big data cultivation?

According to existing theory, everything in the world is big data.

Tangible matter is big data, intangible energy is big data, even human thought is big data.

And to connect all these, a 'universal translation' language must exist.

Chu Fei thought of computers. In the virtual world of computers and the internet, there is also a universal language—machine language!

Machine language is the 'underlying logic' or 'law' of the internet world!

So what is the universal translation language of big data cultivation?

The core of big data cultivation is science, and the foundation of science is mathematics.

When mathematics develops to its limit, it will transform into a "mathematical language."

He remembered many scientists from his past life predicted: if a universal language exists in the universe, it must be mathematical language!

From the cultivation perspective, mathematical language is the law!

For example, the law of a circle expressed mathematically is π!

The symbol "π" is defined by humans, but its meaning exists naturally.

Another example is the golden ratio, (√5 - 1)/2, which is also a kind of law.

Mathematics is the scientific method to study the laws of the universe.

Mathematical language is the key to decoding the metaverse and unlocking the cosmic brain.

Vaguely, Chu Fei felt he had caught a tail end of big data cultivation.

Unfortunately, limited knowledge prevented him from going further for now.

"Continue learning tomorrow!

The enlightenment ended, but the effect of the Wisdom Dew remained. His heart was filled with thirst for knowledge.

"I want to read!"

But lights were out. To read, he'd have to find a streetlamp outside.

One must not be overly competitive.

Countless examples showed that in the end, the one who gets hurt is yourself.

"Then let me review and reflect.

Some points about the effect of Wisdom Dew can be summarized for now: besides enhancing learning ability, it also strengthens inference and association; essentially, it temporarily increases wisdom."

Lost in thought, Chu Fei dozed off.

At that moment, the Wisdom Dew was still not completely used up.
