After deciphering the ancient language and narrowing down the possible location of the pyramid, the team was just about to set out for the search.
Just then, a sudden alert flashed across the massive screen in the Victory Team's meeting room.
"It's a message from TPC's South America branch?"
Seeing the source of the message, Captain Megumi Iruma felt a chill in her heart and quickly approved the connection.
The next second, the image of a South American branch officer appeared on the screen.
"Urgent report! A monster has appeared on Easter Island. Transmitting satellite footage now!"
The officer's words were rapid and anxious. Immediately, the footage began to play.
A towering mountain was shown crumbling violently—collapsing in a thunderous roar. From within the shattered rock emerged the monstrous form of a beast.
Over fifty meters tall, with a ferocious, terrifying visage, and a pair of wings on its back as sharp and deadly as blades.
Its entire presence screamed of destruction.
With a powerful flap of its wings, the colossal monster soared into the sky. The resulting windstorm flattened an entire distant forest in seconds.
According to satellite data, its flight speed had reached an astonishing Mach 6.
"It's Melba! The sky-shattering monster, Melba!"
Daigo called out in alarm, his face full of shock.
"Yuzare was right… the Earth really is undergoing massive upheavals. Everything she said is coming true!"
Everyone else in the room turned pale at the sight of the monster.
And then, as if on cue, all eyes turned toward Su Mo—eyes full of awe and respect.
"As expected of our Chief Strategist. Your predictions were spot on. The prophecy is becoming reality!" said Officer Yanase with heartfelt admiration.
"Every single time… the Chief's judgments are never wrong," Shinjoh added, his face filled with reverence.
"It looks like we need to act faster," Su Mo said firmly. "We have to find the Giant before these monsters cause even greater destruction."
"Agreed!"
Everyone nodded, immediately moving toward the hangar bay to board the Victory Swallow aircraft.
"Wait!"
Just as the team was about to depart, Su Mo stopped them with a firm voice.
"I'm coming along on this mission too."
Captain Iruma hesitated, a worried expression on her face.
"Su Mo, this mission is extremely dangerous. You're the brain of our Victory Team—you should stay here at headquarters with me to coordinate."
"She's right, Chief," Daigo chimed in earnestly. "Your intelligence is our greatest asset against these monsters. If anything happens to you—"
Looking at their concerned expressions, Su Mo slowly shook his head.
He couldn't tell them the real reason he needed to be on-site—how else was he going to gain the Giant's power?
But of course, that couldn't be said out loud.
So instead, he softened his expression and spoke with solemn dignity.
"Danger? If we flinch in the face of mere danger, how are we supposed to protect the Earth? How are we supposed to stand for humanity?"
"Until now, I've stayed behind the scenes. But this crisis… it concerns the very future of our planet. To make sound judgments, I must be there, on the front lines. Only then can I see things clearly."
"If I'm not even willing to face this risk, then I'm unworthy of the title of Chief Strategist."
"No further objections—I'm boarding the Victory Swallow."
His passionate words stirred everyone's hearts.
Daigo, eyes wide, felt deeply moved.
"Chief…"
A true paragon of selfless virtue. Like a living saint.
Even Megumi Iruma, though still clearly worried, understood his resolve.
With a voice full of emotion, Megumi Iruma finally spoke.
"A woman shouldn't stop a man when it matters most… Su Mo, go and do what you must."
Warm-hearted and understanding as always, Megumi could only offer her full support when she saw how determined Su Mo was. She no longer tried to stop him.
Su Mo gave a small smile. "I'll be back."
He reached out and gently patted her head, causing her to lower her gaze slightly, flustered. Then, without another word, he turned and departed with the team.
Not long after, two Victory Swallow aircraft arrived at the designated coordinates. Yet despite scouring the skies for some time, there wasn't even a trace of the pyramid.
"If we can't find it from the air, we'll search underground," Su Mo instructed as the team's strategist.
"Yes, sir!" came the swift replies.
The aircraft descended, finding a suitable landing spot. Once grounded, the members of the Victory Team split up, beginning a coordinated search of the surrounding area.
After separating from the others, Su Mo quietly activated the magical energy within him, enhancing his physical capabilities. With ease, he scaled a nearby peak.
Just as he was preparing to begin a careful visual search, his magical senses picked up a surge—an incredibly dense concentration of light-element energy.
So dense, in fact, it was almost like staring into the sun itself.
Following that trail, Su Mo soon caught sight of the pyramid.
At the same moment, he noticed that Daigo—off in the distance—also seemed to have spotted it.
"Of course… the protagonist always gets lucky," Su Mo said with a small chuckle. "But when it comes to speed, he's still no match for me."
And with that, his body blurred into motion—just a flash across the landscape, propelled by his superhuman physique.
In less than half a minute, he arrived at the foot of the pyramid, bathed in radiant elemental light.
By contrast, Daigo would need at least another ten minutes to reach the same location.
"So this is… the place where the Giant of Light rests!"
Taking a deep breath to calm his rising excitement, Su Mo stepped into the pyramid.
As he passed through the dense wall of light-element energy, he soon came upon three massive stone statues—ancient giants standing tall upon the earth itself.
"The Three Brothers of the Moonlight? No… more like the Three Great Giants."
He rubbed his chin, eyeing them carefully. It didn't take long to identify which one was Tiga Ultraman.
"The design, especially the chest pattern and facial structure, are clearly distinct. Plus, Tiga's right in the center position—no way to get it wrong."
Now came the critical question: how to become Tiga Ultraman?
