The Convergence Begins
***Arin's POV***
The wall exploded inward, showering us with ancient stone and dust. The most stunning and beautiful woman I had ever seen emerged through the hole. Her skin was pale as snow, her hair black as midnight, and when she smiled, I saw fangs.
"Well, well, well" she said in a voice like silk. "The well-known Luna Arin. Though you look a bit different than the one upstairs."
My ribs were pounded by my heart. "Are you aware of the phony me?"
"Darling, I can tell the difference between shadow magic and real blood by scent alone." She entered our room with grace, and I saw that she didn't leave any reflection in the crystals. "My name is Seraphina, and I'm here to offer you something."
"What kind of offer?" With suspicion, I inquired.
"The kind that protects your pack from the imposter who is currently luring your mates."
